These Meitei women and children, including an 8 months old infant, who were taken hostage before they were slaughtered in cold blood by their abductors - all in the name of their "struggle" for the "separate administration" to be carved out of Manipur for the so-called "Kuki-Zo" (an invented expression that has been put in place to serve the exclusivist "ethno-nationalist" mobilisation) people.

However, it must be reiterated that the hands of PM @narendramodi and @AmitShah, the Union Home Minister, and the members of the Council of Ministers, headed by @NBirenSingh, including the two cabinet ministers belonging to the "Kuki" community, are stained with the blood of all those unfortunate victims of the 18 months old mayhem!

🚨 #JiribamMassacre Innocent Women and Children kidnapped from Relief camp, tortured, allegedly Gangr@ped, killed and body disposed off in Barak river by #KukiMilitants

On November 11, 2024, #KukiMilitants launched a coordinated attack on Borobekra, #Jiribam, targeting a police station and a nearby @crpfindia camp. The CRPF personnel eliminated 11 #KukiMilitants in a fierce gun battle.

However, as the Kuki militants retreated, they kidnapped three women and three children, including an 8-month-old infant, from the relief camp near the police station.

Eyewitnesses reported the hostages being taken away on a boat.

After repeated appeal to safely release them, days later, their bodies were recovered from the Barak River, bearing horrific injuries:

📍8-month-old boy: Blow on head, part of the head missing.

📍8-year-old girl: Head injuries, eyes gouged out, pelvic fracture - allegedly gang-r@ped.

📍Woman in a blue top: Gang-r@ped, body found with only a bra with no other clothing.

This barbaric act of targeting women and children is a gross violation of humanity and shows how barbaric the perpetrators are. These actions must not go unanswered.

We cannot stay silent in the face of such genocide.
