@mikejulian I've actually been bitten by something similar to this - a previous company wrote a JS script and hosted it on S3 as part of the "copy this snippet" - it became *incredibly* popular, to the point that the requests alone came to about $2.5k IIRC?

@taylorjstacey @mikejulian Legitimately my favourite way to build side projects now is to throw all the data into sqlite then use sql.js (sqlite compiled to wasm) to just pull the entire database to the frontend. It's a thing of disgusting beauty!
