Last night I spoke with @RitaPanahi and exposed the myths that are perpetuated about late term abortion by the abortion establishment. Here's the facts:
- Late term abortions are not rare. Nearly 1000 babies annually are killed via a late term abortions in Australia.
- Late term abortions are increasing. Between 2018 & 2021 the number of babies killed by a LTA doubled in Queensland.
- Late term abortions kill HEALTHY babies. 80% of LTAs in SA kill healthy babies, in Victoria they kill 1 in 2 healthy babies.
- Late term abortions rarely kill babies who are not going to survive. Much of the time it's for a suspected disability that does not transpire or for non-life threatening conditions or conditions which can be surgically corrected after birth.
- Late term abortions are medically unnecessary, as envisaged under the Live Births Bill babies can be induced alive and delivered early rather than killed in-utero and delivered dead.
