@elonmusk No, it's a failed state. That's what happens when Commies/Religious take over and Western society disappears. They still haven't accepted it, so they remain victims. When will they finally make a stand, is the real question?
A legendary quote was born yesterday from a Japanese fan of Japan’s national soccer team:
“TEXAS IS GOOD. EVERYTHING IS GOOD.”
It has now become a meme —
a new symbol of the Japan–U.S. alliance
@PNWConservative There are plenty of good reasons to hate Seattle, but this isn’t unique to SEA. I feel your pain, but take a chill pill and just flip them off. Otherwise you’re acting like a Seattlite—fracturing at the slightest stress.
oh wait! 😂🤣
@RYboating Satire but given how looney WA is, completely believable and not out of bounds for how far the Commie Gov there has tried and succeeded in controlling personal behavior.
@hotahotasa45082 Neither. Interesting how uninformed most folks are on why there is even a war at the moment and the long history leading up to it. Best to stay out of it or focus on changing the power structure in Europe/West that keeps it going.
Came straight to the comments.
Look, if infidelity weren’t so openly normalized in parts of Japanese culture — soaplands, love hotels, hostess clubs, etc. — maybe the “gotcha” angle would land. But it is, and that context matters. (Full disclosure: I genuinely love Japanese culture. I’ve visited multiple times and have deep respect for it.)
Second, his wealth is completely irrelevant. This behavior happens at every income level: bachelor parties, girls’ trips, corporate “entertainment,” legal brothels, illegal ones, side pieces, you name it. It’s a human thing, not a rich-person thing. You don’t have to approve of it, but pretending it’s rare or exclusive to the wealthy is just cope.
Finally, it’s his business. Only weak-minded people outsource their moral outrage to whatever rich or powerful person is trending this week. The “evil rich” boogeyman is a lazy distraction. Judge the act itself if you want — that’s fair game — but tying the morality of the behavior to someone’s bank account just reveals your own envy and lack of focus.
Being rich doesn’t make infidelity vile. The infidelity does.
I genuinely don’t understand why some restaurant owners still don’t get this basic concept:
If you need more revenue to pay your servers, raise menu prices slightly and pay them more.
Transparent pricing beats hidden service fees or guilting customers into bigger tips every time.
The customers who hate surprise fees aren’t “cheap” — they’re tired of being nickel-and-dimed after already paying premium prices.
Do the right thing, or find out.
@TiffanyFong This sucks. Was initially looking forward to this movie only to be disappointed (not surprised) they still don't get it. Maybe I'll watch it when it's free on HBO, which should be soon since it appears likely to crash HARD!!!
@ohhanxiety 3. Minimize risk to neighbors and ensure dropping the MF on the spot. Although I am a surgeon with 2. Caliber dependent, it’s also a great choice
