@notRealDaffy@Not_the_Bee Who did they switch to. I run online businesses and am therefore very dependent on Stripe, I would literally go out of business if the pulled this on me.
The only other processor I know about is Braintree, which is owned by Paypal who is just as bad if not worse than Stripe.
@nizzyabi That community note is 100% wrong. Just someone pretending to be a lawyer but clearly no nothing about what the law ACTUALLY SAYS.
Buying and selling domains is legal, the cited law has to do with using domains for trademark infringement which clearly does not apply here.
Do any of the current domain marketplaces offer just a simple lease (not lease to own) option.
My theory is leasing will become more and more common (just like it is with real estate) as the best of the best continue to rise in value.
@MichaelCyger@slobizman I was half joking...until I thought more about it. License data from GoDaddy/DN Academy and/or Sherpa. And license sales data from NameBio to train a custom Domain model could yield interesting results.
@its_The_Dr 100 hrs of community service, cleaning up Tesla dealership vandalism, and a fine to cover the cost of the repairs, and the cost for the police and courts to identify and process the case.
@darpanmunjal I've always had this idea of training a custom AI model on public sales data (and/or your own internal sales data) to make an AI powered comps engine.
@lokeshkavisth Mine's more of a hole punch. Honestly though I'd rather have a bezel, distracting having missing pixels on the screen. Waiting for the day when they find a way to make the camera work though a fully working screen. Like noise canceling but for the pixels in front of the camera.
@Sedo I put up with a lot from Afternic because they get me sales I probably would not get off their platform. I can't say the same for you Sedo so if you keep being difficult I am just not going to use you at all, and you won't get any commissions from me at all!
@Sedo has gotten almost impossible to work with. Been stuck trying to verify my domains for several days now. I gave up and emailed them a screenshot from my registrar which they ignore keeping me stuck in the loop of a bad system.
@Sedo I'm about 2 seconds away from dropping @Sedo as a sales platform. Way to much hassle for whats it been 1 or 2 sales over the years that I probably still would have gotten just though another platform if it wasn't on Sedo.
