@DotWeekly@DInvesting@domainIQ_com@DomainTools If they are using 101domain, then that means no recourse if a name is lost in a UDRP, since the jurisdiction is Ireland (which does not recognize challenging a UDRP as a cause of action), instead of Arizona. That's a huge change in risk profile.
What's a single word worth?
Domain investor @BradenPollock (@LegalBrandMrktg) sold $11 million in domains last year.
He breaks down what makes a name valuable – and why single-word .coms are commanding record prices.

Jamie Zoch converted @DotWeekly into a domain name intelligence platform with free tools to help domain name buyers find and evaluate domain names. It is now one of my goto tools I use to find domain name auctions of interest:

I've created a new list on DotWeekly, Last Call which has GoDaddy/Dynadot Expired domains ending TODAY only. A mix of expired and closeout (60 total). EMD, Age, App store, parsed, scored, data updated 3x per day. I'm not 100% done with it but it's 95% done https://t.co/OVq5427Qfe

Today marks a major milestone personally and something I have wanted to achieve for over a decade. I am incredibly excited to officially announce the launch of Winterline (https://t.co/bSuDAtdxpX), a new asset management company I've founded with my long-time friend and business partner, Sean Markey. Don't let Sean’s quiet nature fool you, he is one of the best in the industry when it comes to expanding a brand's online footprint and reach.
Between the two of us, we have spent decades in the trenches of the digital economy. Many of you have followed me here for a decade plus, so you know I have been in the domain space for nearly 20 years. I've owned and run businesses ranging from 50 employees to 2. Sean has spent the last decade plus working with major SEO firms and his private SEO group to master the art of high-level asset acquisition.
What is Winterline?
While Winterline is officially a brokerage, I like to think we are much more expansive than that. We specialize in the high-impact assets, both on and off-market, that actually drive modern business growth. We help individuals and companies navigate the buying and selling of:
Premium Domains: The foundation of your business and marketing.
Content & Traffic: Websites, SEO-focused properties, and high-value backlinks.
Audience Platforms: Newsletters and established social media accounts.
Modern Tech: Custom GPTs and emerging digital tools.
A significant portion of our work is handled with strict confidentiality. Whether it is a private acquisition or a strategic divestment, we understand the need for discretion at the highest levels.
Sean will be leveraging his deep industry relationships to lead our SEO and digital asset division. I will be focused on scaling our domain brokerage and building our capital investment arm. Our investment strategy is broad, ranging from individual premium domains to large-scale corporate investments.
Ready to buy or looking to sell? You know where to find us. We’re also open to collaborating with other brokers, if you have inventory that fits our buyers' needs, let’s get it in front of them.

1. Last week @Escrow_com announced their annual Masters of Domains award, given to the person that has sold the most dollar volume of domain names using Escrow. The 2026 recipient was yours truly, as @DNJournal wrote about here, https://t.co/pAcccMmBGe. First of all, I am proud of our team for this and I am thankful for the amazing people I work closely with at Escrow, I look forward to doing much more together. It is a strong measuring stick of success, but as I have often stated not the only one. In 2025, I oversaw volume that would have placed me in the top 2, but in that year, a large portion of our transactions were circumstantially funded directly or elsewhere. If I have the opportunity to unilaterally decide where my deals get funded, I lean Escrow .com but at the end of the day, it is most important to do what is best for the buyer and seller in a given transaction.
2. Yet another lesson from my training was to "read read read". At ATM Holdings, we do a LOT of reading every day. It is intellectual stimulation, research, deal flow, and informational, all in one swoop. Of course, today's reading includes written text, social posts, podcasts and videos. My team and I spend at least an hour a day consuming content. Many relationships and transactions have stemmed from those efforts. Doing anything every day requires a lot of discipline but you can never miss a day.
3. This notion leads to 2 thoughts. The first was reading Thursday of the $1b acquisition by OpenAI of tech industry talk show TBPN, the "ESPN Sportscenter" of AI. It was a brilliant strategic move by OpenAI, giving them distribution to a relatively small but powerful and engaged audience. The key is that the TBPN team broadcasts live 3 hours every day M-F, and never misses a day. I am mulling the potential in domains, albeit in a much tighter timeframe.
4. The other priceless content came from a LI post from one of the brightest and most successful tech investors in the world, @DaveBlundin , discussing how "W2 income is going to get pumelled in these next 3 years, but assets, holdings and ownership and things are going to go through the roof". He added, “buy stuff, ownership is the best way to participate in the AI revolution." There is no stronger performing asset than the category defining, .com domain name. As an investment its ROI outperforms almost any other asset class, and as an address and brand for your company, the exponential returns are counted in the 8-10 figures. They are also a great conversation starter at a party. IYKYK! The full video is here, https://t.co/uZKx4Pi1VU
5. Speaking of masters, THE Masters is upon us, one of the most exciting event in sports, and yet another quest to win my elusive $1m on DraftKings. LFG!
Until Next Week #domainnames #masters
1. Andrew Miller / ATM Holdings & Hilco Digital Assets
👑 The new Master of Domains 👏
Andrew has been behind some of the biggest domain deals ever done – https://t.co/jRFH2QiY46, https://t.co/oEjluMhMEP, https://t.co/a8qP0ZNhaz, https://t.co/IzZQlZSf2w.
He didn't just win. He ended a seven-year dynasty.
China has been a very strategic market for distribution.
We now have partnerships with most key players in the region, with more in progress.
Within hours of going live on Aliyun, we saw our first sale through the partnership.
Looking forward to building on this momentum.
Many domain investors think marketplaces bring the buyers.
They don’t. Your inventory does.
You invest the capital, take the risk, and hold for years…
…and then give up 10–30% + control over the sale.
Special thank you @wheatus for the special attention to Parker tonight! He’s over the moon excited. Thank you Brenden and Joey for the set list. Awesome show and amazing people!
