With all due respect, Madam Pastor, this is selective wisdom and pure double standard.

If a woman no longer sees a future with a man, why is she comfortably keeping his gifts? Why hold onto items given in love once the relationship dies?

The same energy used to shame men for collecting their own gifts should apply to women who refuse to return them.

You can’t preach “don’t marry a man who collects gifts” while ignoring women who do the exact same thing and even justify it.

A gift given in good faith during a relationship should be returned when the relationship ends, by both parties.

—Character is not gender based.
—Integrity is not selective.

This kind of one sided advice is why many young people are confused about relationships.

You can do better Ma. 🤌🏾🥺
