I’m in Edinburgh and being asked a lot of questions about ITV’s Reform expose.
The reported comments show yet again why we’re not doing deals with Reform. We want Reform voters back, not Reform politicians.
Reform voters are being let down by the people who claim to represent them. Many of these people were the ones who let them down in the Conservative Party. We are now under new management.
These people caused a lot of problems and is why I say Nigel Farage has been doing my spring cleaning.
These problems will keep coming for Reform. Just as Farage is being investigated, so is Robert Jenrick, and so is Richard Tice. These problems will never end because of the kind of people they are - they don’t care about high standards of conduct.
That is why I am showing those voters who want to defeat Labour but left the Conservative Party that it’s time to come home. We are under new management, and you deserve better than this.
It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. And yet the White House is apparently determined to force American drivers to bankroll Putin’s slaughter. It won’t work and I doubt it will make much difference to the price of fuel.
If we want Russian oil and gas back on the world market then let’s end this war - with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.
I am optimistic because The Conservatives have learnt from our mistakes. We are going the right way.
We are ready to fight for our values. Ready to win the argument. Ready to govern.
Ready to get Britain working again.
Thank you #CPC26.
Youth unemployment is at its highest level since 2014. Labour’s jobs tax and (un)employment laws are making it even harder for businesses to hire young people.
Andy Burnham's first decision as Prime Minister was to deliver an unfunded cut that families won't feel.
We understand what actually cuts people's bills: scrapping harmful Net Zero policies and unleashing Britain's oil and gas sector ⬇️
🖋️ "Britain needs a leader who has what it takes, not one whom people suspect might be on the take," writes Daniel Johnson.
"The only leader who has the integrity, the capability and the likeability is Kemi Badenoch."

🚨 NEW: Keir Starmer’s top Civil Servants Antonia Romeo and Catherline Little have known since March that Peter Mandelson failed his vetting
It contradicts No 10’s claim that “nobody” in the building knew
[@guardian]
Last September, Keir Starmer told Parliament three times that “full due process” was followed over the appointment of Lord Mandelson.
We now know the Prime Minister misled the House.
The Prime Minister must take responsibility.
"He is in office, but not in power."
Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch says Downing Street communications director Tim Allan's resignation is 'yet another sign that Keir Starmer has lost control of his government'.

If McSweeney wasn’t responsible for the appointment of his mentor Peter Mandelson then why has he resigned?
But if he was responsible for advising on the appointment, why has he carried the can for it while the man who took the decision stays silent?
This is utterly DAMNING. Rachel Reeves posted this only ten days ago.
"The scheme means private landlords will be *required by law* to obtain a licence"
She now can't use the excuse she made a 'mistake'.
She broke the law.
She really does have to go.
