If you are using LLMs or any generative AI in your paper writing, you are failing at both writing and being considerate. Given it seems every major LLM out there is built on a backbone of widescale theft of human work, the ethics of these tools are... Poor at best

@LarAtLarian You could just explore references the way you always have. Even these 'simple' uses of of these mass plagiarism tools is tacit endorsement of all the theft they have done and the massive environmental impact caused by setting up huge cloud servers for these programs.

@_technomancer @CohhCarnage There are currently no ethical uses for most publicly available deep learning tools imo. Your absolute best cases are deep learning tools built from the ground up and maintained for strict research purposes or very restricted tasks in a scientific setting.

@_technomancer Currently I disagree. All the public 'ai' tools, especially generative ones, are typically large server power hogs. Even if cohh had trained one and ran it locally, I assume he is beginning from an existing program that most likely is being trained on stolen work

Twitch keeps DC'ing me from stream randomly. Its not my ISP. Its not OBS. Its not my hardware. Every day I just have my connection closed to Twitch.

I need help @TwitchSupport. I am literally BEGGING somebody, a real person to look into this. PLEASE.

I have dedicated 13 years of my life to this platform. I need help. I need somebody to look into this. It has been going on for months. I have replaced PC parts, my wires, multiple server swaps, ran every test that everyone has suggested. My career is going to literally die if this keeps up.

I am terrified of not being able to pay my mortgage. My watchtime is down 80% because I CANT STAY CONNECTED. And it is ONLY to @Twitch! Even when I am multistreaming, none of my multi streams drop, its literally only Twitch!

Please. Somebody help me! I hate begging especially on here of all places but I am getting desperate!
