All Public schools in Abia are going ‘Smart’ and going ‘Tech’ 🔥🔥
Omo wetin I sabi for Computer or Tablet when I dey Eight Years Old? 🥲
New Nigeria is happening in Abia, the rest of us are stuck with Tinubu and the Education hating APC. 📌
This week, I have observed with deep concern two notable media appearances: one by my brother, Mr. Peter Obi, and the other by the family of Malam Nasir El-Rufai.
In his interview with Mr. Chude Jideonwo, Mr. Obi voiced serious worries about his personal safety and the adverse impact his role as an opposition leader has had on his businesses. Even more troubling was the Federal Government’s response, which resorted to personal insults and derogatory language instead of the restraint and maturity expected of a democratic administration.
Let me state clearly: like every Nigerian, our presidential candidate and all of us deserve the full protection of the state, not ridicule for raising legitimate concerns.
Democratic leadership requires fairness, justice, and restraint.
A government entrusted with protecting citizens should not dismiss or mock credible calls for help from any individual, including Mr. Peter Obi.
On the other hand, it was distressing to watch the wives of Malam Nasir El-Rufai publicly express the family’s anguish over his prolonged detention.
Regardless of political affiliation, Malam El-Rufai, like every Nigerian, is entitled to due process and the presumption of innocence until proven guilty by a competent court. The continued delay in granting him bail through what many perceive as stringent and unreasonable conditions is deeply concerning. As an unconvicted citizen, he deserves a fair and expeditious trial, while his health and that of his family are adequately safeguarded.
I therefore join well-meaning Nigerians in urging the Federal Government to handle these matters with transparency, accountability, and justice. These issues must not be weaponised to settle political scores.
For our democracy to truly thrive, every citizen; young or old, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or political persuasion must receive equal and equitable treatment under the law from the government that exists to protect us all. - RMK
Those who are mortgaging your future, issuing bonds with 2048, 2050 maturity dates that they will not be alive to fulfill are ones selling the illusion that your votes will not count.
- Peter Obi
Peter Obi asking Tinubu to resign or shelve his re-election bid over worsening insecurity — pain dem well well. Peter Obi stubborn gan.
While Aso Rock was still recovering from the rude shock, he fired another missile by intensifying calls for Tinubu’s resignation.
Now, the Presidency has activated an old warhorse. They are calling in all the favors.
A Boko Haram Grand Patron is making sense to bigots & e-rats because he attacked Peter Obi.
Anyone whose mishandling of Borno State is widely believed to have been the precursor to the rise of Boko Haram should not be given a platform to speak. He should be in jail, aiding or assisting the authorities in finally unmasking those financing the terrorism in Nigeria.
While at it, he should fix his teeth. I can recommend a great clinic for dentures.
The man whose case file is gathering dust in the EFCC has finally met his release clause.
The quasi-journalist with Channels TV talked about the kidnapping of schoolchildren & how Peter Obi asked Bola Tinubu to resign. But Ali Modu Sheriff was clever. He quickly changed the subject to Biafra & IPOB to rile up the base.
As usual, Seun Okinbaloye sat there, wearing his trademark aloof mask. Seun could not press Ali to answer the question. He cleverly avoided asking a follow-up question. When caught in the act, deflect & conflate the issues. Muddle everything up, just enough to make it stick.
He was comparing apples to oranges. It works all the time. All the terror financiers are uniting under one umbrella. Men who were cooped up before now, have found their voices under Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He is calling in all the favors.
Ali Modu Sheriff is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I think it is actually helpful. It is almost self-fulfilling to see foundational members, alongside sponsors of terrorism & their Twitter vuvuzelas, push back against the one man — who is determined to take the fight to them.
Nigerians have subconsciously been expecting such behaviors to align with their assumptions.
The fear of Peter Obi is valid. Their paranoia is justified! PO is uncompromising. He has never hidden his insane desire to end the “Terrorism Industrial Complex in Nigeria” permanently.
Those who profit from terrorism are terrified.
The prospects of Peter Obi’s presidency are terrifying. The no-nonsense administrator is eager to make Nigeria work. If I were in their shoes, I’d be kicking as well. Who would not?

A Wife’s Tears, A Nation’s Conscience: Let Justice Have a Heart.
I woke this morning in America and was deeply moved by an emotional viral video of Hajiya Asiya El-Rufai, prompting deep reflection on our nation’s future.
Regardless of the allegations against Mallam Nasir El-Rufai or any other citizen, justice must be transparent and fair, with reasonable bail conditions that should not be seen as punitive before trial. In a democracy governed by the rule of law, institutions exist to protect every citizen's rights, regardless of their background.
We must resist any hint of selective justice that erodes public trust and threatens national unity. Those tasked with enforcing our laws must act professionally and strictly follow due process.
Let us strive for a Nigeria where the law is paramount, and where every citizen is guaranteed dignity and justice. This is the foundation of the New Nigeria we envisage. -PO

Joshua Maponga: Who Sends Guns to the Congo?
In this clip from South Africa-based radio station @TheVoiceLounge, philosopher Joshua Maponga @vudzijenaj breaks down how w*apons enter the w*r-ravaged Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Given foreign powers have backed a conflict that has k*lled and displaced Congolese for three decades and European colonialists plundered the country for decades before that, perhaps it’s best we not blame ordinary Africans for the vi*lence, corruption and underdevelopment.
Drop us a comment if Maponga has piqued your curiosity.

Tinubu is Currently Destroying The South West, While His Victims Focus On Bigotry…
Charity, they say, begins at home, but that is not the case for Tinubu who is currently on a mission destroying the South West, and many are unknowingly doing Bigotry for him.
From Osun to Oyo, to Ekiti, down to Ondo, he has imported insecurity into the region, and is currently fighting two of the Governors.
It is 15 months now, and he is still yet to release 202 billion Naira Osun State LG funds despite the Supreme Court ruling; he is yet to visit Oyo State or even reach out since the kidn@pping of those innocent students.
All the man cares about is himself and his selfish agenda to grab power; he hates Nigerians equally!
Ghana Settles $700m External Debt Ahead Of Schedule As Economy Continues To Rebound
In the latest win for the administration of Ghanaian President John Mahama, Ghana has fully settled a $700 million (approx. GH₵7.9 billion) external “Eurobond” debt obligation ahead of schedule, as the top African gold producer continues to reap more value from its resources.
This settlement comes on the heels of several wins by the Mahama administration, and stands as a clear message to other resource-rich African countries about which path to take forward.
In August 2014, Australian hostage negotiator Stephen Davis, publicly accused former Borno State Governor Ali Modu Sheriff of being a chief sponsor of the terrorist group, the Boko Haram.
Davis alleged that Sheriff sponsored youths for religious pilgrimages where they were recruited into the terrorist group. The news was reported internationally in 2014. ‘The Sydney Morning Herald’ ran exclusive editorial on these claims.
BACK IN NIGERIA:
Alhaji Buji Foi (also spelled Fai) served as Borno State’s Commissioner for Religious Affairs.
He was appointed to the cabinet by former Governor Ali Modu Sheriff. The year was 2003.
Alhaji Buji Foi was a national secretary of the Yusufiyya movement (the foundational group that became the Boko Haram). He was a close associate of the sect leader, Mohammed Yusuf.
This was widely reported as a political pact to secure Boko Haram's support for Sheriff's 2003 gubernatorial campaign. After Governor Sheriff allegedly failed to fully implement the strict Sharia penal code he had promised, Buji Foi, along with other sect members, became disillusioned & resigned from his government.
When the Boko Haram uprising broke out in July 2009, Buji Foi was publicly identified as a key financier & a member of the sect. He was arrested at his farmhouse & was extrajudicially executed in police custody at the Police Headquarters in Maiduguri, in late July 2009.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, publicly accused former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu Sheriff of sponsoring the Boko Haram.
He made these allegations in September 2014.
Femi Falana alleged that Sheriff's government had a deal with the sect for political support during the 2003 elections, which included appointing a Boko Haram member as a cabinet commissioner. Falana further revealed that Sheriff was arrested in Cameroon in 2012 for his alleged ties to the group, but was released after the Nigerian government intervened.
The SAN then issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Federal Government of Nigeria, demanding the prosecution of Sheriff based on the findings of the Ambassador Usman Galtimari Panel.
The Panel was inaugurated by Jonathan in August 2011 to investigate the root causes & the origins of the Boko Haram insurgency.
Ali Sheriff should have let sleeping dogs. He decided to run a fool’s errand for a selfish mandate — when Nigerians were almost forgetting his past. A tip of the iceberg.
Surprise surprise, President Tinubu has not called Seyi Makinde for once to find out what’s going on with the kidnapping.
Very poor leadership. No empathy.
