There's something odd about this, because I would have thought Mando & Grogu would do some setup for the Thrawn story. Season 3 did a bit & I imagine season 4 would've too. And with Ahsoka S2 and (supposedly) Filoni's movie on the way, we need more worldbuilding for this period.
🚨Jonny Coyne talks about where his character Commander Coin was originally set to appear before ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’🚨
“They [Favreau and Filoni] said they were going to put me into [The Mandalorian] season 4, and maybe a possible Boba Fett episode as well, and then it all went away. It all went away, and then the movie happened.”

Just seen #TheMandalorianAndGrogu Initial thoughts
Not as bad as expected
Some fun bits
Some cool action
Lots of bad CGI
Lacks a proper plot; feels like 2-3 episodes stuck together
Had potential to tell a really good story, lacked the guts to go there
Still better than season 3
Tom Holland says he hopes fans learn from Peter's loneliness in ‘SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY’.
“I really hope young people everywhere will watch this film and appreciate the importance of community and that you don’t have to do this alone.
In the digital age, it is so easy to sit in your room and waste hours just scrolling, but nothing is better than getting out of the house and socializing with friends.”

Gareth Edwards is excited about AI filmmaking
"It’s so clearly a tool that might be up there with the camera"
He says AI has 'no taste whatsoever' when it comes to generating human stories, but is a 'fucking genius' at helping filmmakers organize ideas, test concepts, and produce images
“I view it like having a second-unit director who is a billionaire on acid”
He eventually wants to make a hybrid generative AI film
