the most performative part of job searching is sitting in an interview and explaining your deep passion for a company you genuinely did not know existed until you saw the listing three days ago.
Nigerians will learn pretty quickly that being aggressive and loud is meaningless - if you cannot organise yourselves as a collective, to improve your circumstances, as a collective.
The point of life is not to hustle through it as individuals, but to organise yourselves as a group, so you can hustle less.
As individuals, we cannot outhustle either the Chinese or the Indians - and these people know how to organise themselves.
At some point, we'll figure out that we are ill-equipped to face the World as it is, and then hopefully do what needs to be done.
You only need to know these 7 laws in life :
1) Murphy Law: The more you fear something happening, the more likely it is to occur.
2) Kidlin Law: If you write a problem down clearly and specifically, you have solved half of it.
3) Gilbert Law: When you take on a task, finding the best ways to achieve the desired result is always your responsibility.
4) Wilson Law: If you prioritize knowledge and intelligence, the money will continue to come.
5) Falkland Law: If you don't have to make a decision about something, then don't decide.
6) Parkinson's Law: It implies that if more time is given to complete a task, it will likely consume that entire time, often resulting in less efficiency.
7) Pareto Principle (80/20 Rule): This principle suggests that in many situations, 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes.

Once in a while, play the long game of letting people underestimate you. But make sure while they are busy doing so, you keep building something they wonβt be able to ignore when itβs done.
Let them think small of you. Let them assume youβre not ready. Donβt let them see you coming.
That way, you get to move without pressure and without unnecessary eyes watching your every step.
It's to your advantage because some things need the shadows to grow quietly.
