Kenya kwisha supporters expected Edwin Sifuna to do what Ruto does, make grand promises that border on outright lies… “In 6 months time, I will give free diapers, free phone calls, free internet, build 1,000 dams and water pans, create millions of jobs overnight, build tens of stadiums across the country etc.”
Sifuna chose a different path. Instead of promising miracles, he is promising to fix what is broken in our country by building a government that listens to its people, respects the rule of law, upholds democratic values, inspires investor confidence, creates opportunity and dignity for all and protects the life and rights of every Kenyan (“We will not kill our young people, no one will be arrested for tweeting, we will not teargas churches”)
As he aptly puts it, “We in Linda Mwananchi are software engineers.”
In other words, instead of making unrealistic promises about the hardware, he will first fix the software that runs the system.
The first commitment is to cut wasteful public expenditure and eliminate extravagance in government. The savings should then be used to ease the burden on ordinary Kenyans, particularly by reducing the burden of taxation.
Sifuna acknowledges that prosperity does not begin with grand campaign promises, but with good governance. He also readily acknowledges that no leader can be an expert in everything or know everything. That is why he is committed to listening to the people, and also to experts, professionals and practitioners across different sectors to develop practical solutions that will move Kenya forward.
Obama 2.0: Both newspapers ran identical two-word verdicts on the same Sunday — unplanned, unprompted, unanimous
🌻When fiercely competing newsrooms independently reach for the same headline about a “starter politician,” that’s not coincidence
🌻That’s a signal editors themselves can’t ignore what Trans Nzoia witnessed. #SifunaStorm #SifunaGlory
“Ukiona umepatiwa barua kwa ODM ujue maneno yako imeanza kuiva” by Ruto prophesy
Edwin Sifuna received a letter from ODM and ended up being a national leader and he’s about to remove Ruto. Mambo yake imeanza kuiva.
George NATEMBEYA is like That Successful Elder Brother Who Notices A Talent in His Young Brother and instead of Suppressing it, Her Nurtures it to Grow into something Big
Unlike Caleb Amisi and Peter Salasya who are Kind of Brothers Would strive to Kill the Talent of their Brother so as to remain Shining at the Top.
We will live Never to forget George NATEMBEYA
White smoke is beginning to billow from Western Kenya.
During a press briefing today, following a strategy meeting held at the home of Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, Luhya leaders allied to Linda Mwananchi announced a political roadmap for Western Kenya ahead of the 2027 General Election.
As part of that roadmap, they announced that a new political party will soon be unveiled to carry the movement’s vision.
Governor Natembeya announced that the roadmap will begin with a major Linda Mwananchi rally in Trans Nzoia on 25th July, followed by the mother of all rallies in Bungoma County on 26th July, where Edwin Sifuna will be crowned the Luhya leader before being released to focus on his national campaign.
Further, Natembeya said he will thereafter lead political engagements across all 38 constituencies in Western Kenya in his capacity as the coordinator of the movement’s political activities in Sifuna’s Mulembe backyard.
The leaders present also declared Sifuna as their 2027 presidential candidate.
My friend in London opened a free website last week.
He typed my full name.
14 seconds later, it showed my old address, my old email, and a password I used in 2019.
I haven't lived at that address in 4 years.
He said one sentence I'll never forget:
"Everyone you know is on this site. Most don't know it."
Here's exactly how to find what's exposed and start erasing it 👇
If you're reading this and it’s making you think...

One thing about the just concluded Finance Bill 2026 stakeholder submissions, they were truly rich with simulations on the implications of the proposals.
A 🧵on some simulations that stood out for me.

Most Kenyans keep their savings in a money market fund and call it "investing."
There's nothing wrong with that, but if you want real wealth building, you need to own a piece of Kenyan businesses.
Here's how to build a serious stock portfolio on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. 🧵
Finance Bill 2026 is asking for permission to kill local businesses.
Right now, if your company makes profits, you can choose to:
• Reinvest profits back to business
• Or distribute it as dividends to shareholders
Finance Bill 2026 wants that removed. And be replaced by one hard rule. That,
• At least 60% of your profits can be treated as dividends by KRA. Even if you did NOT distribute anything.
“At least” means minimum.
KRA can push it to: 70%, 80% even 90% if they don't like you.
Read that again.
Meaning:
• If you reinvest all your profits in your business, KRA will says:
- Noo. At least 60% must be distributed to shareholders. And since you didn’t, we will assume you did, and demand dividend tax from you.
As a result:
• You are taxed on money you never paid out
• 5%–15% withholding tax on “deemed” dividends
Who is in cooked?
• SMEs reinvesting profits to expand
• Manufacturing businesses expanding
• Real estate firms with paper profits but no cash
Who is safe?
• SEZ companies
• NIFC companies
• REITs
Because their dividends are already exempt.
But for everyone else, this is a forced dividend rule.
The govt is no longer waiting for you to run your business. They want KRA to run it for you.
Is this fair taxation? Or forced extraction?
Well in Sir only point of correction is that we do have Hon @KibagendiToni who has been talking about SHA inefficiencies so much so that Weta has made him a target in Bunge he was removed from the Health committee and continues to be a target till date.
Inject in all spaces we are in! They will not believe it.

Finance Bill 2026 makes for an interesting & fairly technical read both from a tax policy & administration standpoint.
A 🧵 on the 11 things that stand out from what we are seeing so far for me.
