@laura_woodsy@Liamlfc909@90_JoshB Top gaslighting Woodsy. I have a bet with my mate that ‘66 will be mentioned within the first 10 seconds of the opening coverage. Can you confirm?
@AberdeenFC No doubt he had the club at heart, but if you look back over the last 25 years our performance has been pish. New stadium - pish. Need a training ground to improve on the pitch - pish.
@AMcKellar89@TruthSentinel1 Whyte took over in May 2011. The SFA signed off European participation for season 11/12. At that point the tax was not being paid.
@AMcKellar89@TruthSentinel1 It wasnt being reduced - it was being mitigated. Hence why the club used EBTs. Towards the end stopped paying PAYE which should have precluded them from European competition in 2011/12. SFA cleared them. Financial malpractice for years with a clear sporting advantage Andy.
@AMcKellar89@TruthSentinel1 Lloyds called time on Rangers. They were also exposed through Murray International. Nothing to do with the tax case. When Lloyds took over HBOS they called it. The common theme here is rangers were not sustainably run for years - which is why they needed EBTs.
@AMcKellar89@TruthSentinel1 It wasn’t manageable. Lloyds called time on Murray , forced him to sell to Whyte who used the Ticketus money to pay off the debt to Lloyds. The club was so debt ridden it was no longer in control of its destiny.
@AMcKellar89@TruthSentinel1 The debt was not reduced by the club through operational discipline. Lloyds took a haircut to limit their exposure. The revisionism is honestly mental.
@AMcKellar89@TruthSentinel1 The banks were pressuring Murray for years. It was not manageable or sustainable. If it was, why else did rangers use EBTs extensively? £12m for Flo and none of the support questioned it?
@AMcKellar89@TruthSentinel1 The debt was absolutely the issue. It all came from that. EBTs allowed rangers to compete for players they would not otherwise have been able to afford. The debt was public record. Even now, since 2012, over £100m in losses. Mental stuff.
@AMcKellar89@TruthSentinel1 They would not know about side letters. But they did know the club was in financial distress previous to 2012. It was on record. They preferred the “convenient lies” line rather than uncomfortable truths. Anything to beat Celtic.
