@GlobalHigherEd Silence in the shadows is neither leadership nor courageous. U.S. university leadership and most global institutions are not even on the playing field even as student human rights are trampled upon whilst the government does nothing to stop Genocide in Gaza.
@DominicNewbould Agreed, and it is no accident the UK Ambassador is sitting on his right and clearly pondering WTF am I doing here with this disgraceful representative arguing that genocide is sound policy and humanity.
@gsiemens In an era which A.I. was synonymous with Trumpism! Trump is as artificial as it gets. Four years of damage to all U.S. societal organizations, why would HE be spared. HE is under siege globally - old news.
@arasbozkurt @AshaKanwarCOL @Zawacki_Richter Hiliary (he) was a reknown scholar of open and distance learning in the developing world. And he was an equally kind, generous and compassionate human being and will be missed.
@terguy My first stats teachers didn't leave me a text book - a dose of good advice - he said never forget that one can make numbers say anything one wants. :)
@misc_nerd More importantly, don't assume universities are teaching undergraduates and some masters' level students research methodology. Forty years ago to earn a bachelor's degree in European history I had to take a research course, conduct the research and write a 60 page paper.
@AppliedHE @WinnieEley @sitihtapsir The A-Team in action - delightful colleagues and terrific dialogue and insights. Indeed, a privilege to take part. :)
