10 years and we had some of the best cinematic cutscenes, solid solo legendary campaign experience and the 12 guardians final Witness fight was satisfying. I am feeling both happy and sad at the same time filled with nostalgia. Started at the age of 20 and ending the saga at 30.
on the topic of AI, i think y’all would be extremely disgusted just how aggressively most corporate jobs across a myriad of industries are forcing employees to use and integrate gen AI into every single process. forcing. as in mandating it into performance goals. it’s bleak as hell.
Under capitalism, it's very normal to let children go hungry, let banks force people out of their homes, let sick people d!ė for lack of access to healthcare. But the idea that billionaires could just be less rich, not poor, not struggling, just less rich, is considered insane.
The reason millennials are so nostalgic is that they got a brief taste of a world that wasn’t entirely controlled by the stupidest people who’ve ever lived.
“We can’t raise the minimum wage, because then the price of everything will go up.”
They didn’t raise the minimum wage.
The price of everything still skyrocketed
Even though today was a weekend. Even though I didn’t have to go to work. Even though I got to spend time with my parents. I still felt so exhausted today. Man I can’t imagine another 30 yrs of this existence.
It’s fascinating that giving to charities is considered noble and praiseworthy but creating a society that doesn't require charity is considered socialist and bad.
Humans have survived for thousands of years without AI, and they will survive another thousand years without it. We can live without AI. What we cannot live without is fresh water, farmers, agriculture, bees, trees, and arable land.
Stop using AI. It’s destroying the planet.
I love the economic model where we are told that paying supermarket cashiers a living wage will instantly collapse the global economy, but a CEO getting a $50 million exit bonus for ruining a company is just standard market health.
We really CANNOT have sustainable energy because it threatens the oil industry. We cannot have healthcare because it threatens insurance. We cannot have peace because it threatens the weapons industry. Capitalism built a system where doing the right thing is treated like bad business.
Few things you very conveniently left out and I wonder why…
1. GTA5 came bundled with GTA online from that purchase price, GTA Online 2 is either unconfirmed or now likely to be a separate purchase.
2. GTA5 came with all features available and none of them paywalled, no cosmetics, stores or equipment locked behind an “Ultimate Edition”
3. GTA5 Collectors Edition came with physical goodies, merch and a fancy Disc Case.
The amount of “leave Billion dollar corporation alone” energy coming from people here is quite amazing.
I saw a quote that said "to procrastinate is to willingly endure the discomfort of anticipation, rather than the discomfort of action. Both are burdens, but only one leads to progress" and if that didn't light a fire in me.
I'd like to point out that @Destiny2Team is likely working overtime, doing crunch hours to get these bug fixes out, knowing their reward will likely be layoffs in a couple of weeks. Those devs are goddamn legends, I don't think we're appreciating them enough right now.
"you can't afford 20$ extra stfu brokie 🤣"
"you're still going to play it day one 🤣"
"other games do the same, why are you complaining?"
comments like these are the reason big corporations keep exploiting you brainless dumbfucks.
thanks for ruining gaming.
You can like Valve and admit the Steam Machine is overpriced.
You can like GTA and admit that it is overpriced and that the lack of a physical disc and ultimate edition-locked content is bullshit
Defending these decisions will ensure that similar decisions continue to happen
