@SaMcDuff Yep, so much of our infrastructure is all about the Car, and change looks remote. You wouldn't notice this from the endless utopic 'freedom-and-style' car ads 😶 Salthill is at its best on an unexpectedly fine evening well after the zoom zoom has faded.

@SaMcDuff Well done for saying something- I've found it feels futile but maybe one driver after dozens of incidents has thought, geez that was on me, maybe I need to improve my driving. I reckon there's a higher chance of them joining the cyclist=self-entitled enemy chorus 😕

@AidanOSulliva15 I buy external hard drives in pairs (latest are 4Tb each) and have batch scripts (Windows) to copy files across to both, many many Gb of photos so have never gone cloud with the bulky stuff. The idea of having all nicked tho is yikes 😬

@saoirse_mchugh Incentives for higher density human habitat in walkable villages/towns, investment in hanging onto and trying to recover wildlife habitat, seeing beyond pure agricultural/development value of land, more bikes, fewer SUVs

@dublincycling @IrishTimes @CorkCyclingCrew @IrishCycle A cyclist needs to invest thousands to gain maximum savings equivalent to 20 or 30 watts of muscle power. 1 horsepower is 745 watts, so even a 100 Hp car will put out 74,500 of them. Bike/car equivocation is dumb, and too much policy and opinion is guided by non-cyclists.

@boucherhayes Even from a security pov, less is more. Large companies are a constant target for data hacks. There was a big flurry of scams lately using mobile phone numbers; would love to know where were taken from.
