I hope everyone will read Dave Ramsey’s comments about going cashless. It’s a two minute read. No one has explained it better. He brings up several situations I'd never considered.
I took this picture of my receipt in my beautiful town Kerrville Texas. I support this and I can see how this could affect our kids by having gaps in work ethic, financial literacy, and community connection.
Dave Ramsey repost:
HERE'S WHAT NO CASH ACTUALLY MEANS:
A cashless society means no cash. Zero. It doesn’t mean mostly cashless and you can still use a ‘wee bit of cash here & there’. Cashless means fully digital, fully traceable, fully controlled. I think those who support a cashless society aren’t fully aware of what they are asking for. A cashless society means:
* If you are struggling with your mortgage on a particular month, you can’t do an odd job to get you through.
* Your child can’t go & help the local farmer to earn a bit of summer cash.
* No more cash slipped into the hands of a child as a good luck charm or from their grandparent when going on holidays.
* No more money in birthday cards.
* No more piggy banks for your child to collect pocket money & to learn about the value of earning.
* No more cash for a rainy day fund or for that something special you have been putting $20 a week away for.
* No more little jobs on the side because your wages barely cover the bills or put food on the table.
* No more charity collections.
* No more selling bits & pieces from your home that you no longer want/need for a bit of cash in return.
* No more cash gifts from relatives or loved ones.
What a cashless society does guarantee:
* Banks have full control of every single penny you own.
* Every transaction you make is recorded.
* All your movements & actions are traceable.
* Access to your money can be blocked at the click of a button when/if banks need ‘clarification’ from you which will take about 3 weeks, a thousand questions answered & five thousand passwords.
* You will have no choice but to declare & be taxed on every dollar in your possession.
* The government WILL decide what you can & cannot purchase.
* If your transactions are deemed in any way questionable, by those who create the questions, your money will be frozen, ‘for your own good’.
Forget about cash being dirty. Stop being so easily led. Cash has been around for a very, very, very long time & it gives you control over how you trade with the world. It gives you independence.
If you are a customer, pay with cash. If you are a shop owner, remove those ridiculous signs that ask people to pay by card. Cash is a legal tender, it is our right to pay with cash. Banks are making it increasingly difficult to lodge cash.
Please open your eyes. Please stop believing everything you are being told. Almost every single topic in today’s world is tainted with corruption & hidden agendas.
Pay with cash & please say no to a cashless society while you still have the choice.
People who dismiss the rise of open Communists within the Democrat party don't understand Bolshevik tactics or history
Of course, Democrats nationally will say the commies are few. Their whole game is pretending the vanguard is just a fringe.
But once in power, who calls the shots? What policies do we get?
They put the oldest, most boring white man in Democrat politics- Joe Biden- in office, with dementia, because they could pretend he was non-threatening politically and a "unifier"
What did the Biden White House do?
Intentionally, systematically throw open our border to 10+ million foreigners, an abject betrayal of this nation we may never recover from
Which is *exactly* what Chevalier of the 13th congressional district says she wants to do, again, and more
Wake up, everyone. Communism is here. It just hasn't won yet. And they plan to keep lying about it until it's too late.
Immodest White women are too braindead to see it:
Your tiny bikinis at the beach, butt-crack leggings at the gym, and sports bras in the grocery store only exist because Christianity built a high-trust society that tames men and shields sluts from consequences.
Try that shit in a Muslim country, Africa, Hindu, or any Third World shithole, you’d be harassed, beaten, or worse within minutes.
Oh wait, you voted in tandem to IMPORT those very same people.
You mock the very faith and men protecting your degeneracy while sawing off the branch you sit on.
Peak entitled, suicidal stupidity.
Communism through (my) ages:
1) When I was 15, a teacher told me "It isn't as bad as they say, and makes a lot of sense."
2) At about 19, college friends, "Socialism isn't communism."
3) At 20, on meeting my grandfather-in-law, "They are evil. We escaped in 1949."
4) At 30, "China is a wonderful developing Democracy"
5) At 35, I was sent to communist China on business. It was a crowded, smelly, dirty, factory of despair and hopelessness. This I saw with my own eyes.
6) At 36, "China doesn't count. Successful socialism is in northern Europe."
7) I moved to northern Europe when I was 40. It was much nicer than China, but also felt like I was living in the past. I had to wait 6 months for a hernia operation.
8) When I was about 45, the migrant crisis began. The socialist/globalist/pacifist allowed them entry into every country, regardless how many crimes they committed along the way. Just 20 minutes from my house, in Calais, I was shocked to see migrants jumping onto trucks, breaking open the doors, scattering the contents across the highway, then climbing in. They went through the Chunnel and got out in England.
9) At 52, the soft socialism around me had transformed into globalism. I was told I had to call people by their preferred pronouns, though it was a lie, and even if I didn't know what the preferences were. I quit.
10) I returned to the US, and am now 60. "Socialism" is no longer a dirty word here. People openly espouse the virtues of it. Politicians run as socialists and win.
Socialism has taken many forms, from the Bolshevism of Russia, to the CCP in China, the Nazis in Germany, Fascists in Italy, and the many forms of it found in Latin America. It is one of the two most destructive ideologies on earth. It is designed to deprive, despirit, and murder everything that comes in contact with it.
Socialism is a great lie at every level. It helps no one, not even those who benefit the most. This is because the cost is the imposition of one's will on everyone else, and that destroys the soul of the usurper and the life of the oppressed.
Socialism always fails on its own, but only after destroying almost everything in its train. It can also be conquered. Those are the options.
Almost Five years ago I was a healthy, very active man in the prime of my life.
An artist by heart and soul who had traveled to over 100 countries, maintained peak health and fitness, and ran or hiked miles in nature almost every day. Simple, full, and free.
Then on July 21, 2021, I received the Moderna COVID vaccine.
I felt it the moment it entered my body.
Within days a cytokine storm triggered a rare neuromuscular disease and multi-system damage. I went from the ICU to six brutal weeks in hospital, and nothing has been the same since.
Today I am mostly bedridden, confined to my bedroom. I cannot work. I cannot drive. I cannot grocery shop. I can barely walk more than short distances on my best days. I have not left my house further than a quarter mile in years.
Every single day I endure ischemic stroke-like episodes, a partially paralyzed diaphragm that makes breathing a struggle, severe neuropathic pain, esophagus and larynx spasms, severe swallowing issues that make eating difficult, severe trigeminal and occipital neuralgia, crushing fatigue, dysphagia that turns eating into an hour-long ordeal, neuro degeneration and neuromuscular disease diagnosed as ALS unspecified, and waves of symptoms that force me to be bedridden.
Doctors mostly dismissed me as psychosomatic, anxious, or worse. One diagnosis I had to sue to have removed from my record. I spent over $60,000 chasing every treatment the injured community has tried. Nothing gave lasting relief. I became my own doctor , turning to sunlight, grounding, circadian alignment, nature, and my faith in God, which is what carries me when the body wants to quit.
For three years I have spoken out , documenting my journey, writing on X and Substack, calling for acknowledgment, proper diagnostic codes, real care, and accountability for what was done to us. I stand with every vaccine-injured person who has been denied, dismissed, and abandoned.
Yet suddenly the story has gone silent.
People are no longer talking about the people who became severely disabled after one shot. Support has dwindled. The institutions that told us it was safe have offered no honest accounting. No real acknowledgment. No justice.
The reality is that we did not recover when the headlines ended.
We are still here. I am still here.
Still mostly bedridden.
2026 has been brutal.
Still fighting every single day.
Still waiting for the truth to be told.
Please share this. Not for sympathy, but because thousands of vaccine-injured people deserve to know they have not been forgotten.
My time here in X soon comes to an end and halt, yet I am grateful to have met such wonderful people and the support I have received . I know there is not much you can do for us, but I am very grateful for all the absolutely amazing and wonderful prayers and words I have received. Thank you from my heart.
Prayers is what this worlds needs more than ever.
Please don’t stop believing and dreaming of a better world.
God is not finished with us yet.
May God Bless you and peace be with you.
Dava fastidio a troppe persone.
Eppure il Gamma Knife non serve solo per i lesioni, ma anche per molti tipi di tumori.
Cercate su Google:

Voglio condividere e fate girare questa storia. Potrebbe evitare a qualcuno un intervento inutile. Potrebbe, semplicemente, salvarlo.

@adamcarolla I went to my wife's job once to change her flat tire. She told me she had tried to ask male co-workers to help her change it. They said they didn't know how. Shocked me
Here a story about how X isn’t real life.
Last weekend I was at a child’s birthday party and I bumped into a girl I knew in college. We had been friends and in a few clubs together.
She had a reputation as the “college ho ”. She didn’t hide this much. She had attended parties in her birthday suit and the photos were sent via hundreds of email accounts all across campus. Everyone knew, even if they didn’t want to.
Obviously I didn’t approve of her behavior, but I was always friendly and kind when we met. We never dated so it was platonic. I had sort of gotten the impression that she may have had a difficult upbringing. I know now for sure that she had been abused as a child, because she had all the signs professionals are trained to notice.
Her sexuality was her way of acting out against whatever trauma she had suffered.
Well, I hadn’t seen her in decades and she showed up with a husband and two beautiful tween girls. We chatted for a while and I got the impression that she had started making a lot of positive changes in her life. I gave her a hug, told her I was proud of her, and said it looked like she was raising her girls well.
I didn’t ask about her “body count” or say she was “damaged goods”. I talked with her husband about being a girl dad and we hit it off.
We went our separate ways after that, but I was happy to have seen her and proud that she finally had gotten life figured out.
You see, that’s a normal human reaction. We certainly don’t need to approve of bad behavior, but we needn’t give up on someone in their 20s, either. Not all of us mature on the same schedule, and what matters is how we finish, not how we start.
There’s hope, even for “304s”, because human beings always have a chance to turn it around. As Christians, we can fill someone with shame, or we can teach them that there is always a way out.
I would never want anyone to follow this woman’s path, for it is filled with pain and heartache. But I did want to share that you have the agency to be happy again.
This how the Covid hysteria ( NOT COVID) gave me cancer and changed my life forever....
In January of 2020 I had a sore throat that wouldn't go away. I went to my GP and she said it was probably allergies. So, I believed her. The pain came and went off and on.
In February 2020, I went back because of pain and it was making me very anxious. She said, she didn't see anything and still thought it was allergies.
By March, I could barely eat, the pain was killing me. She gave me medication for anxiety (I can't even remember what it was) and directed me to an ENT. By this time, everything was being shut down.
That doctor scoped my throat. He said I had polyps but they were probably because I project my voice. Okay, that made sense because it's true. He flat out told me that they were not cancerous 100%. He said I could not have a PET Scan because with the "Covid guidelines" in place it was considered "elective" and couldn't be done. He said to come back in September for another check.
In my mind I had seen three different doctors so they must be right. They couldn't do anything else anyway (Following the Covid guidelines) I was living in excruciating pain for months and on pain meds.
In May, I fell (From pain meds) at home, alone, and shattered my ankle, lol (Not really funny, but I was like WTF) In the hospital I go, surgery, and now in a wheelchair 😂 I couldn't go to a residential rehab because it was only for stroke and heart attack people ( Per Covid guidelines) I'm not making this shit up, lol. I told the doctors at the hospital about my throat as well. It's like " You'll be fine" lol.
I'm on a walker and at times still in a wheelchair because I'm still recovering BTW when it was September and time to go back and get scoped again at my ENT.
He scoped me and said, "I'm referring you to an Oncologist, I think you have cancer" I SHIT YOU NOT that's what he said.
I went to (Which is still my Oncologist, whose amazing) He did a PET, results were Stage 4 incurable Squamous Cell Carcinoma spread to Lymphnodes in neck.
So yes, I remember the Covid restrictions. It almost killed me.
To all the people pushing for another Pandemic, eat shit! Unless it's Ebola spreading like wildfire, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT AND I DON'T CARE.
I beat Cancer against all odds and I'm very grateful. Many people died from the Covid restrictions. We can't ever allow that again.
Thanks for listening 🩷
Alright. I need everyone to look at this.
Not skim it. LOOK AT IT.
Because what happened in the last 24 hours on this platform is one of the most breathtaking displays of coordinated dishonesty I have ever seen from elected officials -- and I have been watching these people for a long time. I am a science teacher. I grade papers for a living. I know when someone copied.
They ALL copied.
Let me show you exactly what I mean.
@SenWarren: "safe and effective" @PattyMurray: "safe and effective" @RonWyden: "safe, full stop" @RepJohnLarson: "safe and effective. Full stop." @RepBeccaB: "safe and effective" @RepDelBene: "safe & effective" @RepGregStanton: "safe and effective" @SenatorHassan: "safely used for years" @SenatorHick: "safe and FDA approved" @TeamPelosi: "access to mifepristone" SenatorCantwell: "safe medication" SenMarkey: "SAFE and LEGAL" repdeliaramirez: "safe and reliable"
That is not a coincidence. That is a MEMO. Someone in the DNC wrote those words, sent them to every caucus member, and these supposed independent representatives of the American people just... pasted it in. Changed a word here. Added an exclamation point there. Slapped their name on it.
And then had the audacity to call YOU their constituent.
Here is the part that should make your blood boil regardless of where you stand on abortion: these people are telling you -- openly, demonstrably, provably -- that they either did not read the court ruling, are not smart enough to understand what they read, or are perfectly fine lying to your face because they think you are too stupid to check.
Pick one. Those are the only options.
Here is what the ruling ACTUALLY says -- you know, the document none of them apparently opened:
The Fifth Circuit issued a TEMPORARY STAY of the 2023 FDA rule change that allowed mifepristone to be mailed without any in-person medical visit. The drug is NOT BANNED. Not restricted from in-person dispensing. Not removed from any shelf anywhere. It is back to the rule that existed for TWENTY YEARS from 2000 to 2023 -- a rule that nobody called a "nationwide abortion ban" at the time because it was not one then and it is not one now.
The ruling was triggered by the FDA's OWN ADMISSION that the 2023 rule had "procedural deficits" and a "lack of adequate consideration." Biden's Autopen's own agency admitted it FAILED to adequately study whether mailing the drug without in-person oversight is safe. The court held the FDA to its own documented standards. That is not extremism. That is administrative law.
But sure. Tell your constituents it is a nationwide abortion ban. His dog's trying to teach him new tricks and getting nowhere.
Now. Let me go through the highlight reel.
@PattyMurray and @SenatorHassan and @RepGregStanton. Oh boy. Sen. Murray wrote "This ruling is an attack on every woman's right to make her own health care decisions, and it must not stand." Sen. Hassan wrote "This ruling is an attack on every woman's right to make her own health care decisions, and it must not stand." Rep. Stanton wrote -- I want you to read this carefully -- "This ruling is an attack on every woman's right to make her own health care decisions, and it must not stand."
WORD. FOR. WORD.
Three separate officials. Three separate states. One brain between them and they are sharing it on a rotating schedule. Isn't it dangerous to use your whole vocabulary in one sentence? Because apparently they only have the one.
@SenWarren decided that "a conservative court packed with Trump-appointed judges" was the headline -- except, Senator, one of the three judges on that panel is a George W. Bush appointee. That is a fact available to anyone who spent thirty seconds on the first page of the ruling. You did not spend thirty seconds. You spent zero seconds. And then reported to your constituents anyway. Running on dial-up in a fiber-optic world and mad at the court for having internet.
@RonWyden called it "a nationwide abortion ban." Full stop. Thirty years in the Senate. The man has been in that chamber since 1996. He has seen more legislation than most people have had hot meals. And his contribution to this moment is a tweet calling a mailing rule stay "a nationwide abortion ban." Thirty years of accumulated nothing. I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and poop out a more accurate legal summary than that.
@repdeliaramirez called for making "#RoeVWade the law of the land." In response to an Administrative Procedure Act ruling about an FDA mailing regulation. These are DIFFERENT CASES. Different courts. Different legal questions. Different decades. She does not even know what she is commenting on. More confused than a chameleon in a bag of Skittles and still found a way to get 2,000 retweets on it.
@RepBeccaB actually said -- and I quote -- "Whether it's taken at home or in a medical setting has no impact on that fact." No impact. The FDA's own label reports 2.9 to 4.6 percent of women prescribed mifepristone IN PERSON require emergency care. The court record explicitly states mailing without oversight INCREASES those risks. The setting has a documented, quantified, FDA-certified IMPACT on patient safety outcomes. She told her constituents the exact opposite of what the FDA's own documentation states. That is not a misunderstanding. That is a lie with a congressional letterhead.
@SenMarkey said "blocking access to it isn't about safety -- it's about control." Senator. The court's ENTIRE analysis -- all 18 pages -- was about safety. Specifically the FDA's own admission that it never adequately studied the mailing safety. The court cited the FDA's documented safety failures. You told Massachusetts the court ruling about safety is not about safety. I genuinely do not know what your problem is, but I am guessing it is hard to pronounce.
@TeamPelosi -- the former Speaker of the House of Representatives -- said Republicans "don't like birth control." Mifepristone is not a birth control medication. Birth control PREVENTS pregnancy. Mifepristone terminates an EXISTING pregnancy. These are pharmacologically and legally distinct categories that a Speaker of the House should be able to distinguish. The pilgarlic performance from someone who once wielded the Speaker's gavel is genuinely something to behold.
@amyklobuchar -- to be fair -- was the ONLY one who got close to accurate. She said "by mail" instead of inventing a ban. She gets half a point for basic literacy. The bar is subterranean and she barely cleared it but she cleared it. You bring everyone so much joy, Senator. You know, when you leave the room. But still.
@CAgovernor Gavin Newsom joined the party. Not a member of Congress -- a governor. But same talking points, same memo, same lies. Newsom is the same guy who apparently once said Governor Greg Abbott "doesn't have the backbone." Governor Abbott, for anyone who does not know, is paralyzed from the waist down due to a severed spine from a 1984 accident. Newsom has more nerve than spine, which is apparently the qualification for running California into the ground.
Here is the thing that keeps me up at night. Not the politics. The PATTERN.
If a CITIZEN lies to a member of Congress, that is a federal crime under 18 U.S.C. Section 1001. Up to FIVE YEARS in federal prison. Substantial fines. That is what happens when YOU lie to THEM.
If a member of Congress lies to 335 MILLION citizens?
That is just a Friday.
And that Friday apparently comes with a DNC memo and a coordinated social media rollout and zero accountability whatsoever.
Trying to reason with some of these folks is like trying to baptize a cat. But I am going to keep doing it anyway -- because SOMEBODY has to drag these lies into the light, and I have tenure, a science background, and nothing but time.
@RepPressley@SenWarren@RoKhanna@PattyMurray@RonWyden@SenatorCantwell@SenatorHassan@RepJohnLarson@RepBeccaB@RepDelBene@RepGregStanton@amyklobuchar@repdeliaramirez@SenMarkey@SenatorHick@TeamPelosi@CAgovernor
You are all on record. Every lie. Every talking point. Every copy-pasted word.
And I am just getting started.
America was founded by geniuses. These people are proof the trend did not hold.
But what do I know -- I am only a science teacher and Army combat medic who read the 18-page ruling, can define arbitrary and capricious agency action, knows the difference between a mailing rule and an abortion ban, and understands that when fifteen elected officials post the SAME WORDS on the SAME DAY about a ruling NONE OF THEM CITED -- that is not democracy. That is a poltroon parade dressed up as representation.
IF THIS MADE YOU THINK: LIKE this post so the algorithm shows it to people who need to read it. SHARE this -- every single share matters. There is someone on your timeline right now being lied to by one of these names. COMMENT "YES" below if you want me to keep calling them out by name. One by one. With receipts. Because I have all of them.

Let me add one more thing. And yes, I am going to repeat it. Because it is THAT important and some things deserve to be said twice.
Quinn's Law Number One: "Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent."
Read that again.
Every. Single. Time.
These fifteen officials told you they are fighting FOR women. They told you they are protecting women's health. They told you this ruling puts women's lives at risk.
But here is what they did not tell you -- because not one of them read the ruling.
The FDA's OWN safety label states that 2.9 to 4.6 percent of women prescribed mifepristone IN PERSON require emergency care. The court record -- the 18 pages none of them opened -- explicitly documents that mailing the drug WITHOUT in-person medical oversight INCREASES those emergency care risks. Louisiana showed $92,000 in Medicaid costs from real women who ended up in real emergency rooms from mifepristone complications in 2025 alone. Nearly 1,000 cases per month.
The court reinstated in-person oversight BECAUSE women were being harmed.
Let that land.
The ruling these members of Congress are calling an "attack on women" was issued BECAUSE women were getting hurt WITHOUT proper medical supervision. The in-person requirement they are screaming about EXISTS to make sure a doctor is present when complications occur. Reinstating it is not a war on women. It is a basic medical safety standard that these officials -- in their coordinated, memo-driven, copy-pasted outrage -- are actively fighting to REMOVE.
Quinn's Law Number One. They say they are protecting women. Their position, if it succeeded, would result in MORE women in emergency rooms with NO doctor present. The exact opposite of their stated intent. Every single time. Without exception. You could set a watch by it.
I want to say that one more time for the people in the back who are still reading the talking points memo instead of the court document.
THEY. ARE. FIGHTING. TO. REMOVE. MEDICAL. OVERSIGHT.
FOR WOMEN.
While telling you they are protecting women.
And here is the part that should stop you cold. Not one -- NOT ONE -- of the fifteen names I tagged in this post can tell you what a woman IS. Their party spent years insisting that only a biologist can define a woman. Well. I am a science teacher. I will do it for free.
A woman is an adult human female -- the sex of an organism that produces large gametes, organized around ovarian development and the reproductive anatomy that supports gestation. That definition comes from developmental biology, evolutionary biology, endocrinology, and medicine. It is in the textbooks. It is not controversial in any field that studies living organisms.
But ask @SenWarren. Ask @PattyMurray. Ask @RoKhanna. Ask @repdeliaramirez -- who cannot even identify which court case she is commenting on, let alone which biological category she is defending.
They cannot define a woman.
They cannot tell you what a woman is.
But they are absolutely certain -- CERTAIN -- that they know what is best for women's bodies, women's healthcare, and women's lives.
And they know it so thoroughly, so completely, so confidently, that they do not need to read the ruling. They do not need to check the FDA's own safety data. They do not need to acknowledge the real women in Louisiana emergency rooms. They do not need to define their terms. They just need the memo. Paste it in. Hit send. Collect the fundraising email donations that go out twenty minutes later.
That is not advocacy. That is not protection. That is not fighting for anyone.
That is using women as a political prop by people who cannot even name what a woman is -- while simultaneously fighting to strip away the medical supervision that exists specifically to keep women safe.
Quinn's Law Number One. The exact opposite. Every time.
I am a science teacher. I have spent my career explaining how the natural world actually works rather than how people wish it worked. Reality does not care about your talking points. Biology does not care about your memo. And the women in those Louisiana emergency rooms do not care about your fundraising email.
The truth is the truth whether or not fifteen members of Congress choose to read it.
But what do I know -- I am only a science teacher who can define a woman, read a court brief, interpret FDA safety data, and identify when the people claiming to protect someone are actively making the situation more dangerous for that someone. Apparently a rare combination on Capitol Hill.
Comment YES below if you want me to keep going. Because I have more names, more lies, and more receipts than they have talking points.

Thomas Sowell is 95 years old.
Let that number sit with you.
Ninety-five years on this earth, and in all of them, he has never held public office, never had a viral moment, never begged for anyone’s attention.
What he has done is write 30 books and spend 50 years of patient research building a body of work that has outlasted every fashionable idea his critics tried to bury him with.
While the loudest voices in Washington were chasing polls and the cleverest minds on campus were chasing grants, Sowell was in the library reading the data, tracking the outcomes, and dismantling one bad idea after another.
He doesn’t argue feelings.
He measures results.
He isn’t selling anything.
His whole approach boils down to one line that every politician and activist in this country should be forced to recite before they open their mouths:
“There are no solutions. There are only trade-offs.”
Sit with that, too.
Every federal program, every mandate, every well-meaning crusade carries a cost, and somebody pays it.
Sowell’s life work has been the simple act of asking who.
Listen to him on the “help” our communities have been promised for two generations:
“I’ve been doing studies now for 20 years of programs designed to increase equality. They increase inequality.”
“Even when the programs are designed for disadvantaged groups, they help the affluent members of the disadvantaged groups, while the lower members of those groups fall further behind than ever before.”
That is the whole affirmative action racket laid out in two sentences.
The kids from the same zip codes as the Harvard faculty get the slot, while the kids from the neighborhoods that actually need a ladder are told to wait their turn.
Sowell says it plain:
“The vast majority of blacks who go to places like Harvard, Cornell, and Stanford are not blacks from the ghetto. They’re from the same neighborhoods as the whites there.”
The race hustlers don’t want you to know that, because they need the grievance to stay in business.
Sowell’s advice to young people cuts right through the hustle:
“Stay away from the race hustlers.”
“Equip yourself with skills that people are willing to pay for.”
That is the whole ball game right there, a matter of skills, work, and accountability rather than slogans, hashtags, or another federal program designed to pad a consultant’s salary while leaving the South Side worse off than before.
Here is the line I want every young person in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, and every other corner of America to read tonight:
“Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good.”
That one sentence explains our schools, our cities, and why the neighborhoods the War on Poverty was supposed to save are in worse shape now than they were before the checks started flowing.
Sowell has pushed a whole generation of us to stop reacting and start asking harder questions.
What are the incentives?
Who actually benefits from this policy?
What do the numbers look like five, ten, twenty years later?
Ask those questions honestly, and the illusion falls apart.
The most dangerous man in America right now isn’t the one shouting on television.
He is the 95-year-old professor in Palo Alto who doesn’t need you to agree with him, because he has the data on his side.
