You're the God who never leaves nor forsakes His children. You're the One who makes a way where there seems to be no way, calms every storm, and strengthens those who put their hope in You. You're the God who is never late and never early but always on time. Because of who You are, I come before You today with confidence, knowing that nothing is too difficult for You.

Lord, as I step into this Tuesday, let my life be directed by Your wisdom. Guide my thoughts, my words, and my actions. Keep me from every mistake that could bring regret, and help me to walk in the path You have prepared for me.

Father, fill me with fresh strength to continue the journey of this week. When I am tempted to become discouraged, remind me that You are working behind the scenes even when I cannot see it. Give me the grace to remain faithful, diligent, and steadfast in everything You have called me to do.

I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Every arrow of fear, confusion, sickness, delay, disappointment, and discouragement is destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus. I shall not stumble, I shall not fall, and I shall not be overcome by the challenges of this day.

Today, let Your favor speak for me. Let my efforts be fruitful, my labor be rewarded, and my steps be ordered by You. Open doors that no human being can shut, and lead me into opportunities that will bring glory to Your name and blessings into my life.

Father, You know every prayer I have prayed, every burden I carry, every silent battle I am fighting, and every promise I am waiting to see fulfilled. What a beautiful reminder that God’s power is not limited by human limitations. A deaf preacher boldly declaring the goodness of God shows us that faith can overcome every barrier and every obstacle.

The world may focus on what someone cannot do, but God sees purpose, calling, and potential. He delights in using ordinary people and extraordinary testimonies to reveal His glory.

No limitation can silence a heart that is filled with faith, worship, and praise. God’s goodness is not dependent on our circumstances, abilities, or challenges. He remains faithful in every season and worthy of our praise every day.

May this testimony encourage us to focus less on our limitations and more on the greatness of our God.

The trials you face today are not designed to destroy you; they are opportunities for God to develop perseverance, strength, and faith within you. As James wrote, "Count it all joy when you fall into various trials." Why? Because trouble has the potential to bring out the very best in you. Hold on, child of God. The night may be dark, but joy is coming in the morning.

Clarification on My Political Position

We have noted recent media reports and discussions suggesting a possible realignment within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) due to the current challenges facing the party.

In light of the misleading narratives in the public domain, I wish to state categorically that no final decision has been taken regarding my political future or that of my political associates.

The recent Supreme Court judgment, while affirming the legitimacy of the David Mark-led National Working Committee (NWC), also remitted the matter back to the High Court. This has left the party in a precarious position.

In addition, the Federal High Court has recently ruled to delegitimise the party’s recent convention. The Attorney General of the Federation has also strangely applied to a Federal High Court to deregister the ADC.

We left the NNPP due to externally influenced legal problems that made our stay perilous. The ADC has now been also forced into this difficulty.

Consequently, like other major stakeholders, we have commenced wide-ranging consultations — including with leaders from the NDC, PRP and others to explore the best options for protecting our democratic interests. We shall announce our decision in the soonest possible time.

On the issue of presidential candidacy, I wish to recall my consistent record as a committed democrat. In the 2014 APC presidential primary, I came second to President Muhammadu Buhari (whom I fully supported to victory), with Atiku Abubakar third, Rochas Okorocha fourth, and the late Sam Nda-Isaiah fifth. Similarly, in 2019, I contested the PDP presidential ticket and immediately supported the winner, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, serving as the campaign’s coordinator in the North. I have always placed national interest and party unity above personal ambition.

Furthermore, the ADC is yet to zone its presidential ticket or take any decision on a candidate. I have therefore neither declared any intention to run for president nor endorsed any aspirant. All speculations to the contrary are premature and unfounded.

My absence from the two recent ADC stakeholders’ meetings was due to unavoidable personal commitments. I promptly communicated my apologies to the party leadership.

We shall continue to engage constructively at all levels. Any definitive position on our political direction will be communicated formally through official channels at the appropriate time.

Today, history was made in Abam Onyerubi as we commissioned two landmark projects: the New Omenuko Bridge over the Igwu River and the 30-kilometre Ndi Okereke Abam, Okobo, Amuvi Arochukwu Road. The commissioning was performed by the former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Onyeabor Azubuike Ihejirika (rtd.), who turned 70 years old today. We wish him a memorable birthday in good health and God’s continued blessings. These projects stand as a testament to our collective resilience and the determination of our administration to end decades of neglect and usher in a new era of prosperity.

For years, the old Omenuko Bridge symbolised pain and loss, with families mourning loved ones who perished due to its structural failures. Today, we honour their memory and declare that deceit and failed promises shall never again define leadership in Abia. The commissioning is not just about infrastructure. It is about restoring dignity, hope, and safety to our people. And with the completion of the road, too, the age-old cliché that “there is no easy road to Arochukwu” has been abolished forever.

The nightmare of collapsed roads and broken bridges is over. Farmers can now move their produce to markets, students can travel safely to schools, and communities once cut off by fear and frustration are reconnected. The siege has collapsed, the jinx is broken, and Abam and Arochukwu stand tall as beacons of what is possible when leadership aligns with the aspirations of the people.

This is the dawn of a new Abia, one built on truth, progress, and shared destiny. Together, we have proven that our future is not bound by neglect but is shaped by our collective will. Abia has seen the light, and never again shall darkness cover our path.
