@MichiganPodcast But you remember his electric season last year and how he steadily improved over time, right? Oh yeah, he did the opposite. At least he’s dressing and talking with swagger in the offseason though, right?
@trey_sakow Very much against it.
7-5 North Dakota made the FCS Playoffs last season. FBS College Football has always had maximum stakes on regular season games. Expansion erodes that.
@JoshPateCFB Why not make it 64 teams? See everybody in December.
As is, they’ve taken the most meaningful regular season in sports and watered it down. Tough to get up for a non-conference game when you get at least 2 and probably 3-4 losses before your season ends
@WolverineChron Honestly, based on what? He regressed as last season when on. I think the narrative that he wasn’t getting any attention is overblown. So you’re basing it on his High School tape? A new QB coach and offense? I want to believe, but don’t get the optimism.
Every FBS School's Big Brother🏈
With how the CFB ecosystem works, (almost) everyone has that one program they keep looking up at trying to catch.
What would you change?💭👇
@trevormccue Anyone remotely optimistic is delusional. We stocked last year. Turned over the coaching staff and the $12 million man, progressively got worse as the season went on. And it’s a gauntlet of a schedule. .500 is way more likely than 10-2
@TheB1GCommish Have you played tennis before? He can tee off on his serve every time. Even a pro is going to commit an unforced error, unless he can’t serve
@JKSully313@Jbooty88 Grades are devalued so they shouldn’t matter at all? It’s stressful to be young. My point is changing the criteria for success to other variables (social skills, looks, etc) from grades (proxy for hard work and intelligence—although I get ur point) is unlikely to solve the issue
@giannis_pistons@JKSully313@Jbooty88 I can totally understand and sympathize with those who struggle. Truely. But at some point grades will (and should) matter. If not, you’re substituting one metric (grades) for another arbitrary element (ability to socialize)? The substitution dosnt solve the mental health issue.
