This is the same chief executive (interimming) who will insist to @mea_bc that she has engaged in detailed consultation with @LarneSwimClub ....... As the head coach of the club responsible for all aquatic activities in club.... She has NEVER consulted with me.

Not 2 mention the flawed plan by interim chief exec to 'improve' productivity by providing more swimming lessons...without teachers to teach them....in a leisure centre which has to close the pool due to staff shortages and strike actions because of the afore mentioned council

1/3 So this coming Monday @mea_bc will meet to decide if making money is more important than the physical and mental health of the young people in their council area. They will vote to close @LarneSwimClub LTS and increase the pool hire costs putting a club that has represented

@LarneSwimClub has existed in Larne for 50+ years, working alongside @mea_bc successfully for that whole time, we run 4 hours of Learn to swim a week (it used to be 6 but @km301010 has removed 1/3 of that already) ALL the money we bring in from these lessons we use 2 pay @mea_bc
