@joperec Wow, a US panel actually said the opposite, this is perfectly within compliance of the USMCA agreement.
Maybe the US just sucks at competition?
@joperec It broke down because the US wanted to create a preference system for Canadian trade deals, the same exact type of deal they pushed on Ukraine for minerals.
Canada said fuck that, you can undercut us on prices that way.
@RoyalIntel_ Incorrect, they use Sidewinder missiles and certain helicopters use tracer rounds.
Also the shoot down rates can be pretty abysmal depending on the type, like Arash drones hit Ben Gurion and Shaheds have hit fuel depots effectively.
@joperec What are you talking about? Chinese goods are prohibited under USMCA for transhipment. It’s part of the agreement to prohibit the circumvention of tariffs, which has existed since NAFTA too.
Your facts are backwards.
@joperec Funny how the US has never hit the dairy quota limit. It’s also funny how you think that losing millions of barrels a day in oil imports won’t cause a massive market crash in the US.
But sure, live in your ignorance.
@joperec The US should decide which countries it sees as totally and unfairly abusing their trade arrangements. However they don’t have the right to complain when they lose trade arrangements they’ve had for decades when they apply unfair arrangements on other countries.
@joperec The CCP you retard. America is slowly becoming a similar crapshoot state that looks to have protectionism and cronyism be the regular method.
Now let’s go back to oil, explain how America would do just fine without Canada after being so absolutely disproven.
@joperec Funny how the US puts tariffs on Canadian Lumber, adds hurdles to trade, refuses to allow new WTO judiciaries, and then pretends others close trade to them.

@joperec In Tiananmen? They slaughtered students. Did you not know that? Also do you know the difference between an investment and directorship? Trump likes to bully the companies he’s buying interests in.
Also he’s doing it with zero congressional mandate.
@joperec The US would basically go into a deep recession and Canada would be hard hit and have to import from abroad while also in a deep recession.
See what the problem is with an economic trade war over vitals?
Imagine no potash for American agriculture too?
@joperec You think a sovereign wealth fund is the same as ownership and directorship of companies?
Face it, Trump’s a proto-commie and you got duped. Communists also hated free trade.
@joperec Funny how you say that while the President of the US is basically taking ownership of companies and telling them to do things for the national interest over profits….
Hmm, sounds kinda like China if you ask me.

@joperec The terminals in Edmonton need to be refilled after the US decided to have a fun adventure in the Middle East.
Meanwhile tell me, will Cushing at bottom of the barrels do well? I think not.
America would immediately have to ration like the 1970s because it mismanaged the SPR.
@OldEngineer91@TankerTrackers Kpler put Yanbu loadings at 1.78 million due to Houthis, but that’s likely an undercount due to AIS off tankers. The port could only really handle 4.5 million reliably. Maybe now it’s at 3 million?
Fujairah pipeline is max at 1.8 million.
So maybe 10 million out total?
⛽️💢 Saudi Arabia Likely Shuttling Oil Through Hormuz as Red Sea Route Comes Under Threat
➤ Saudi Aramco is offering Arab Medium and Arab Heavy crude for ship-to-ship delivery off Sohar, Oman, Bloomberg reports, suggesting the kingdom may have begun moving more oil through the Strait of Hormuz.
➤ Saudi Arabia had relied more heavily on its cross-country pipeline to Yanbu on the Red Sea. But that alternative is now also under threat after Ansarallah declared a maritime blockade on Saudi Arabia on July 20 and escalated attacks near Mokha and Bab al-Mandeb.
➤ Kpler estimated a sharp drop in Yanbu loadings in early August, falling to 1.78 million bpd from 4.04 million the week before. (The numbers are likely undercounting dark transits, report notes).
➤ Aramco declined to confirm the trade but recent activity suggests Saudi oil exports from inside the Persian Gulf are increasing. Satellite imagery shows tankers with a combined capacity of at least 9 million barrels loading at or near Ras Tanura over the past week.
➤ Saudi Arabia has assembled many supertankers off Oman, pointing to possible large-scale ship-to-ship transfers outside the Strait of Hormuz. Bloomberg reported at least 19 supertankers
@RazorOil I realized after 5 minutes of arguing with this moron that she cited an article that proved my point. When they get cornered they mention Venezuela, as if Venezuela is miraculously going to produce 4 million barrels and they can reverse pipeline pressures to PADD 2
@SteadtlerA58435 Again, read RazorOil’s post about this. PADD2 is very reliant on Canadian crude, there basically is no access points for that much crude daily to come except by the Enbridge Mainline system.
The US is a heavy crude refinery giant, but it doesn’t produce what it uses.
@Texas68Landon@SteadtlerA58435 So do an oil import ban then. Better yet, 50% tariffs on all oil?
Oh wait, why is that the one thing the Trump administration never tariffs?
@joperec@JabooKombe@RazorOil You don’t even know how to read your own source. Guess what it shows, the US imports massive amounts of oil from Canada, Mexico, and Venezuela and converts it into various products.
America is the world’s largest gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel producer. It also uses a lot!
@ChowdhuryF33314 I think they wait patiently until Late September and then ratchet it up just as midterms start to commence, as Trump would be under pressure from GOP House and Senate members to keep it calm so they don’t lose their seats.
