BREAKING: Abdul El-Sayed's campaign is responding to @FoxNews after unearthed social media posts from El Sayed's sister in 2012 appear to show her saying her family has been involved with and supportive of the Muslim Brotherhood. I asked the campaign if they deny the posts are in fact from his sister, and what comment they have given that El-Sayed just told Meet the Press over the weekend that nobody in his family has any ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. This is what they told me.

Independent fact checkers have repeatedly debunked Mike’s lies, but their campaign continues to use bad faith attacks on Abdul's faith and family. The first words out of our recused fighter pilot's mouth were "God is good."

He is a strong man of faith and his experience aligned PERFECTLY to that of Jesus.

On Good Friday, an American F-15E Strike Eagle was ripped from the sky over southwestern Iran. The weapons systems officer, a battle-hardened colonel, ejected violently and crashed into the rugged mountains, wounded and bleeding.

He hid deep inside a narrow mountain crevice, a dark, rock-walled shelter much like the stone tomb where Jesus’ body was laid after the crucifixion.

While Iranian forces hunted him with bounties, the airman treated his own wounds in silence and pain, echoing the long, quiet Sabbath of mourning and apparent defeat.

Then came Easter Sunday. Rescue arrived and reached the colonel in his rocky refuge, pulled him from the cave-like crevice, and lifted him into the light of freedom like a modern day resurrection.

Many called it the “Easter Miracle”: suffering on Friday, hidden in stone on Saturday, and rising to new life on Sunday. A pilot, like the risen Christ, had returned from the brink.
