My on-the-whistle thoughts are that outside of their defence I didn’t think much of the Stormers. They were only in a position to score due to really sloppy unforced stuff from ourselves.

I’m less worried about squad turnover than most. The squad got a bit of a freshen this six nations, and I’m sure we’ll see more over the summer.

People worry about age profiles around the likes of Aki, but I think Irish rugby is in a better place with those guys remaining.

In the main, the Irish rugby media trends negative towards the various teams. It’s often discussed.

I feel like I’ve been very negative about Leinster lately but the vibes just seem off.

I don’t expect us to win every game but it’s the lack of firing a shot in the games we do lose that I find galling.

Obviously it’s hard to put much too much weight against what they say in pressers but still.

Sometimes it feels like we’re still trying to find our way post-Sexton but he’s gone quit a long time now.
