I don't follow the "respect is earned" philosophy. I respect everyone automatically and then each person has the opportunity to lose my respect based on their behavior.

I think about this a lot. so much of this film is about the intrinsic, fundamental reality of being black. either you know it or you don't. and if you can't access empathy, the movie is functionally gibberish to you. the motives make no sense if you don't get the dynamics in play
Globalize the intifada --> defund the police --> accurate tweets about parasitic, murderous, IDF soldiers that your wife, appropriately, liked.
Once they get you to start apologizing for what you claim to believe in they'll never stop.
