Dear builders,
Today, we're announcing Polar v1.0.
An open source alternative to Lemon Squeezy with 20%+ lower fees.
Designed for builders, indie hackers and open source maintainers.
You push the world forward. It's time you got paid coding on your passion.
Introducing License Keys.
Making it seamless to sell premium software without the headache of managing billing, international sales tax and real-time validations yourself.
One big step towards our v1.0 announcement on Product Hunt this Thursday (September 5th)
Without the generous support of our sponsors like @penpotapp, this year's Heart of Clojure conference would not have been possible. Thank you! #Grateful#ClojureCommunity#HoC24
We now have around 350,000 images of daily rainfall observations taken between 1870 and 1960 from 1000s of sites around the UK.
More than 100 million measurements. Very few are already digitised as usable data.
This is a huge AI/ML challenge. Anyone want to help?
Babashka now has 3900 stars on Github. Let's get it to 4000 before the workshop at https://t.co/E0PtwyDLLf!

Recently learned that there are π*10^7 seconds in a year (h/t @CJHandmer) and wondered how long it would take to apply that rule. Turned out: around 2π*10^5 seconds!
@ac_alejos Recently got back into Ruby after months of only working with Clojure. (still) love the ecosystem, but the mental overhead of the syntax and OO is huge compared to Clojure.
We just dropped our Polar North Star v1.0!
@polar_sh will deliver the best monetization platform for open source projects, indie hackers & startups in 2024.

New release of deps-try ✨ #oss
It's (aiming to be) the easiest way to get a #clojure REPL and just try stuff (beginner or expert).
You get:
- code completion
- syntax highlighting
- code examples
- adding dependencies on the fly
- eval-at-point
