I’d love to see @OpenAI and @Anthropic give more attention to smart memory.
A real memory platform could make immutable LLMs feel mutable—like they’re learning:
1. Define a new open protocol for memory management—start with an MCP endpoint, then evolve into a deeper connectivity layer integrated at inference time.
2. Memory should auto-compress—from a firehose of raw signals into a compact network of inferred insights—just like how sleep consolidates human experience into intuition.
3. Memory bits should form a semantic graph, with relevance-weighted connections across multiple dimensions. Like embeddings transformed vector DBs, memory graphs should enrich at write-time.
4. Memory banks should be portable and hostable by any provider (AWS, GCP, etc.), and pluggable into various models.
5. Authentication, encryption, TTL—baked into the protocol.
6. Tools for visualizing, searching, and editing memory—so it stays curated.
7. Keep memory fresh by connecting to live data sources via MCP or similar.
8. Graph relationships could map directly to fine-tuning weights—turning learned memory into real model influence.
Call it MemCP? 😉
Who’s building this?
@sama
The biggest barrier companies will face in adopting AI is culture.
Luckily, we’ve worked hard to maintain a healthy, meritocratic maker culture—built on boldness, resilience, mental elasticity, and a drive to push forward and move fast.
I see the impact of that at @Lemonade_Inc every single day.
We need more startups focused on building better AI-powered engineering tools for the enterprise—not just VSCode wrappers.
Beyond the hype, Cursor and Windsurf are very basic, thin-layer extensions built on top of Microsoft’s Code OSS (not sure where their insane valuation comes from, tbh).
At @Lemonade_Inc, we had to build an entire layer of MCP servers, browser extensions, and more to allow Cursor (and the likes) to better understand our large and complex codebase, reduce hallucinations, and do a better job at writing code.
We gave our coding tools context from our product specs, coding standards, security guidelines, etc., as well as an ever-improving list of rules and restrictions—synced between our engineers.
@DAzaraf Anything can be explained as "divine intervention".. as explained.. sometimes it just human stupidity.. but you're free to believe anything you want

@DAzaraf Great header but no substance.. how many of those so called tech founders already pulled their money? how much of it went to to SVB? gloating is nice but at least have some substance to your gloat
Conspiracy theories can be tempting, but it's important to fact check and not blindly believe everything we see online. Here are some steps to help debunk them:
1) Look for credible sources
2) Check for logical inconsistencies
3) See if the theory has been debunked by experts
Seriously? @elonmusk announced the whole "buy verification" concept will be relaunched? Can't wait for the fiasco! Going to make some popcorn it's going to be hilarious!
So @cz_binance takes @SBF_FTX to school and naturally everyone is screaming.
DEFI FIXES THIS!
Where you literally sleeping when #UST/#Terra unraveled?
No amount of decentralization can cover up for human greed & stupidity.
