@GalacticRedPill@sethjlevy all those supposed concessions, they basically sign control of the country, its resources and economy away to us.
That’s the way to prevent any new investments, sanctions relief, or other dollar from being used for proxies, missiles and nukes. We dictate where that money goes.
@GalacticRedPill@sethjlevy I’m leaning now towards Ghalibaf and Aragachi willing to be Iran’s Delcy Rodriguez, and the reason for the delay of the actual terms and all the horseshit we’re seeing in Iranian state media is them selling the deal and consolidating power inside Iran.
Because in exchange for
@SuitablePolitic We dictate where all the money goes, and we control their resources and economy
I do share your skepticism that this is likely, but as you said, if things fall apart, we just go back to bombing them again or letting them collapse naturally through economic failure and infighting
@SuitablePolitic is consolidating power and trying to sell the deal to remaining regime personnel willing to acquiesce, before the actual terms of outright signing over control of the country to us is revealed.
That’s one way to ensure the supposed money and sanctions relief don’t go to the IRGC
@WestMichP2@snowblinder76 But for now, gotta let our Delcy consolidate power.
I still think IRGC hardliners are more fanatical than Chavista hardliners so likely it’ll just turn into major infighting instead of this ideal situation happening, but that benefits us too.
@WestMichP2@snowblinder76 Yeah, and it will also make the Israelis and Iranian people happy since it means regime change is guaranteed in the future. The Chavistas will not be in power in Venezuela for long. They’re only there to keep things stable for now as we steadily clean house. lol
@WestMichP2@snowblinder76 Which likely involves signing away much of their country to us. If they want investments and sanctions relief, then we basically run their economy and resources, and they do what we say.
@WestMichP2@snowblinder76 If this is true, it also would explain why it’s taking forever for the actual MOU to be published and why we’re seeing horseshit from Iranian state media. They’re trying to sell the deal to the remaining regime and consolidate power before announcing the major concessions.
I am currently shadowbanned on my main account (@DukeNukem1996) and therefore can’t send notifications.
I want to know if you saw this @SuitablePolitic.
This would indicate Trump thinks he found Iran’s “Delcy” and therefore we would effectively run Iran through regime remnants.
A couple points about the proposed $300 billion Iranian reconstruction fund:
- This is not "pallets of cash" or a lump sum check, nor is it a proposal for U.S. taxpayers to foot the bill. Instead, the money would come from private equity and Gulf states.
- The false "reparation" narrative was advanced by Iran itself because they need a domestic win and they want to demoralize the U.S. and its allies.
- There are strings attached. Iran is subject to continual American oversight and must comply with terms set by the American government -- no nuclear development, no Sharia killings of Iranian citizens, etc.
- The fund is dollar-denominated, which helps to secure dollar hegemony and undermines China's efforts to use Iran as an economic wedge against the United States. India is also complicit in these efforts and has been purchasing vast quantities of non-dollar oil from Iran. Putting a stop to this is a geopolitical imperative.
- Iran is crucial to the success of China's Belt and Road Initiative, particularly the China-Central Asia-West Asia Economic Corridor. The implementation of this proposal would totally interrupt China's BRI projects in the region, significantly curtailing their ability to project geopolitical influence across the Asian continent.
- The proposal opens up the door to the dollar-denominated restructuring of existing Chinese BRI debt, further reducing China's geopolitical and economic influence.
China and Russia will almost certainly use every tool in their hybrid warfare/influence operation toolkit to make sure this proposal isn't implemented because its implementation would almost certainly spell the end of the BRICS-led Eurasian order, which was the real objective of Trump's intervention in the first place.
@snowblinder76@WestMichP2 actually be the ones in control and dictating what they should be doing.
If they refuse, we can go back to bombing them again. lol
@snowblinder76@WestMichP2 He fed leaks to Candace Owens because of his opposition to conflict with Iran. lol
So Trump definitely isn’t pro-Iran or anti-Israel.
What I’m now leaning towards is Trump thinks he found his “Delcy Rodriguez” of Iran.
Meaning the regime technically remains in place but we’ll
Interesting.
So this would basically involve signing the entire country away to the US like Venezuela.
Which will lead to eventual regime change, but a soft one where we control and manage them economically rather than militarily.
@howardbasker@LJS527 the regime officials we signed the deal with have to sell the deal and/or consolidate power before details are made. That’s why we see a lot of horseshit from Iranian state media claiming we’re giving them all sorts of shit we aren’t actually giving. Then the real concessions
@JWacker10@DukeNukem1996 Yeah, I read about that. Frankly, with all the leadership decapitations, we’re not dealing with a centralized government anymore.
Wouldn’t be surprised if the actual MOU is just a few officials willing to save their own skin signing the country away to us and leaving the rest of
@OyVeyIzhMir@DukeNukem1996 “gave” to the regime, as if we totally capitulated.
Then afterwards, all the major real concessions the regime gave the US are made public.
Even with that, I don’t see the regime willingly follow through so this deal will go nowhere as usual but markets are calmed.
@OyVeyIzhMir@DukeNukem1996 Well my charitable explanation, as I said in the post, is the specific regime officials we’re signing this deal with need to consolidate power to ensure it sticks, and that’ll take a week or so.
That’s why the Iranian state media keeps listing all these absurd concessions we
