Something similar happened to me but in a different game - I loaded a quicksave right before receiving a killing blow - game loaded and 5 seconds later I was presented with a "You died" screen and forced to load the same quickload again 😂

The theory is that since turning it on everything has gone downhill
And since turning it off for a few years for "maintenance" or something similar, nature is starting to heal.

If this wild theory would apply in our reality, it stands to reason that turning it back on will make everything continue to go 'downhill'
