Took the kids to Old City Hall today for @Doors_OpenTO.
I spent a big chunk of my investigative career handling criminal cases inside that building, so they’d only ever seen the grand exterior. Today they finally got the full tour — complete with my running commentary on the darker side of human tragedy.
They seemed equally fascinated and mildly traumatized.
