@ZubyMusic Neither is "disability". My wife owns a retail business, and was accosted by a customer over a completely ridiculous matter. Customer admitted her error and rude feedback, blaming her autism. My wife's response was legendary - "autism doesn't give you the right to be an asshole"
@CrazyVibes_1 She will probably do a better job for you because of your kindness towards her. The ball is in her court to keep the trust alive by not abusing any decent privilege you've shown her.
Very disappointing to see Labor just vote for a 22% pay rise for politicians.
I will personally be knocking it back.
3%, the same as what is being offered to our public workers, is fair and reasonable.
@Adam_Stokesy Only if essential for legal registration in my chosen field, and subsequent ability to practice. My wife and I have actively discouraged our kids from attending uni unless they knew exactly what they wanted to do, and had to have a uni degree to achieve an entry point.
@Charliemarkasx@ausstockchick We are doing a reno. Cheapest tradie thus far is $77/hr, plus anything they arrange has their 20% margin added to it. I'm an ICU nurse with over 20yrs exp. These guys earn nearly double what I earn per hour, basically working the equivalent of a morning shift for me 🤔
@AvidCommentator The money is broken Tarric, and the subsequent flow on problems have perpetuated into a societal decay. The politicians are incapable of solving the root problem mate.
@mikealfred Retail without any BTC conviction have given up mate. They think BTC is too volatile, but don't even realise the debasement of their own money sitting in the bank (or the digits on their screens that is). Shame, as they had the chance to front run!
@privacymatter21@JfkNakamoto@JasonJBurnell Just show her the currency debasement chart - now that's volatility! My wife was a changed person when I explained the change in denominator to BTC. She saw it straight away - hedge against debasement, whilst it continues to gain value due to scarcity. Good luck man!
