@nakamuramartin@retrotink2 CRT sim is basically bob deinterlacing but with alternating black lines added, which gets rid of the otherwise annoying "bobbing" of bob deinterlace, and actually looks like a CRT. This is what all 480i users should do.
@LoveMHz@HBiangardi@Adam_GTUK@MakeMHz This approach makes sense. My response was to Hank's suggestion of preorders being used to "getting the product made", which is different. I do think it would be more pro-consumer if the role of preorders ensures that they never exceed ~3 months.
@muramasa_ninja This looks cool! Question about a different product: the Extended Famicom Converter listing says it does not work with an Everdrive N8, but have you tested an N8 Pro (Fami version, of course)?
@HBiangardi@Adam_GTUK@MakeMHz This is what bank loans are for. Typically, businesses bear the risks of a loan, but they also enjoy the rewards. Is the idea now especially in the retro niche market that buyers should bear the risk, act as lenders, with uncertain and always delayed preorders?
@krikzz@Soulart_AVI I was planning to wait for a Graphite shell as I think that looks best (and is used in the packaging image ๐), but I hadn't considered the solar sensor issue!
@DesireeAmerica4@CryptoInvstr64 Unrealistic. As you "walk out the door" you'll be slammed on the back of the head, and then everything is just worse for everyone.
