@Hedge_FundGirl Very. Tony Vinciquerra helped turn the business around and focused the studio on the arms dealer strategy. They realized niche streaming had a better chance so focused their energy on Anime/Crunchyroll.

@sinstockpapi Yes, that’s the argument they keep making. I understand the reasoning for keeping the entertainment assets together but having hardware, Japanese financial services, and phone cameras under the same company doesn’t make sense - won’t change so you have to be okay owning the rest

@sinstockpapi Don’t think they do anytime soon. Five years ago I thought it would be reasonable to see them sell their studio biz but nothing has happened since. I think they keep discount - they’re buying back stock but still a collection of unrelated assets that would be better spun out
