@crwiley1962 Should Christians lock down God's Word (including translations thereof) and the spiritual things / Christian teaching behind a system of copyright for the sake of profit or other forms of worldly gain (which is what many consider to be simony)?

@SutterSaga @jandrusk @crossway A laborer is worthy of his hire, Christians should support the work of Ministry to translate/disseminate God's Word so those can be paid for and the fruits given freely... instead of "marketing business as ministry" and engaging in reciprocity.

@presbyterianpew @jandrusk @crossway We highly recommend putting the Word of God and Christian teaching in the public domain, so that we are not peddling the Word of God, and are doing the work of ministry (which includes translating/disseminating God's Word) in a biblical way, instead of making a business out of it

@jandrusk @crossway You only have to just do a little gymnastics to take the "laborer is worthy of his higher" verse in order to justify "we can commercialize and lock down the Word of God behind copyrights". ;)
