@anyaheyworld yeah that’s crazy like they don’t actually understand how expensive things can be , never said i didn’t want to hang out lol just said i couldn’t afford what you want to do
I had a friend who would go out of their way to talk about how poor they were growing up so i thought we were bonding until I saw things years later like girl- your family lives in a rich neighborhood and you made me feel weird about living in a homeless shelter as a kid tf
a lot of people would be surprised by the amount of rich/middle class people who call themselves broke exist. i attend a private school through a scholarship and the amount of times i have to explain to my friends that when i say i have no money to go out, i mean it, is wild lol
like i completely understand that everyone in every walk of life has their own problems but like don’t make me feel like shit and uncomfortable for the way that i grew up if that’s how your portraying your childhood
and like they always made it seem so extreme but in reality they just always lived near multimillion dollar homes and their response was always “well my parents had to work hard so we really struggled with everything basic”
someone put a random pair of pants in my work locker while i was out sick/in the er and im assuming they’re for me bc they’re kinda cunt ngl
not even mad
FINAL UPDATE:
I just heard from HR and my manager that they are paying me my backpay at overtime rates for the last 3 years!
