A new all-sky map of the outer region of our galaxy has been released by NASA and ESA. Many theories have indicated that the region contains dark matter, so this map will give astronomers a new oppurtunity to explore this physical phenomenon.

In 1799, french astronomer and a cat lover Joseph Jerome de Lalande created Felis (latin for cat) constellation. It was 34th animal in the sky at the time. Sadly in the early 1900's #astronomer Nicolas Camille Flammarion removed it alongside other #constellations.
