@johncutlefish Design systems are a necessary resource for the entire product team to maintain consistency and standards as well as save time on rework. Of course it needs to be well built and maintained which isn’t always the case. Like any product, teams won’t use a DS that doesn’t deliver.

@johncutlefish There is a greater chance that the product will fail if that one pager isn’t informed by user research. There’s no evidence of upfront user research or post launch feedback loop. The PM is running the show, devs are doing their own QA.

@PatrickMooney @InVisionApp @figmadesign If you weigh up pros and cons I think it’s easier to teach stakeholders to comment on the screens in figma than expect designers to work with often painfully slow and unresponsive tools.

@PatrickMooney @InVisionApp @figmadesign There is. Designers love figma, but Invision is superior for stakeholders. Figma share links are crazy long, slow to load and people are less inclined to comment on the prototype I find, they’ll opt for sending feedback on slack or email 🙄.
