@joe_warmington He was qualified in every aircraft he flew and held the correct type ratings for those aircraft. Had he not been a licensed pilot he wouldn’t have been able stand a chance of challenging that training and passing. The media is making it much more than it needs to be.

@joe_warmington It’s a matter of formality to write the exams. Nothing more. I’m not saying it’s right but he had a license and he passed all the training and demonstrated hundreds of times over in his career he could pass the evaluations. No one was ever in danger.
