THE FIRST MD-11 REVENUE FLIGHT IN 6 MONTHS IS AIRBORNE
After six months on the ground, FedEx’s iconic MD-11 is back in revenue service.

Following successful test flights of the redesigned aft pylon mount bearing developed with Boeing, FedEx has officially returned the tri-jet to commercial operations.

N621FE is now airborne as FX985 from Memphis to Miami — the first MD-11 revenue flight in 6 months.
A second aircraft, N521FE, has also departed Memphis as FX980 bound for Los Angeles.

The MD-11 is officially back!
