@phylaxis Yeah, I sorta knew what I was getting into, and that I'd be playing the "long game" here. So, I'm just trying to take it one day at a time. I'm fortunate to at least have the care I need while I wait.

@phylaxis National list is about 100k deep and approximately up to a 10 year wait. There are shorter lists in some regions, but I'd have to have a relative in those areas to go to live and recover. I'm hoping to be as lucky as my older sister, who only had to wait just over 4 years 4 hers.

@phylaxis It's rough, for its own reasons. I can only imagine how difficult going through cancer treatments can be. I've watched a few relatives go through it, and it didn't look enjoyable. I hope you're getting the necessary treatment you need.

@phylaxis Like yourself, I guess, there are good days and bad days. I have anemia also stemming from the kidney disease. Had a couple stints in the hospital the last few months where my hemoglobin absolutely tanked, and needed transfusions. I was pretty close to checking out in Jan. Heh...
