On page twenty-six of “The Billionaire Tax” proposal in California, it explains how the state legislature can convert from a Billionaire Tax to an Everyone Tax without voter approval.
They can also adjust the tax to be a yearly tax, not just one time…again, without your approval.
Intelligence test for you: if this was meant to just target Billionaires, why did they write this in?
Think you’re healthy? Think again. 1 in 3 adults has prediabetes, and 80% don’t know it. Insulin resistance starts before diabetes—don’t wait for a diagnosis. #DiabetesPrevention
Looks like @CocaCola & @pepsi are getting nervous about MAHA trying to improve the health of all Americans! Here's the propaganda that @AmeriBev beverage is pushing on lawmakers all over the country. Let's break down their claims...
🔄 ABA Claim #1:
"Proposals to restrict SNAP purchases won’t help anyone lose a single pound or save a single taxpayer dollar."
✅ Rebuttal:
Restricting SNAP purchases of soda is not about instant weight loss or immediate cost savings—it's about long-term public health improvement and preventing disease.
SNAP is a publicly funded Nutrition program, not an entitlement to soft drinks and candy.
Taxpayers shouldn't subsidize the purchase of non-nutritive, harmful products like sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs), which are strongly linked to obesity, type 2 diabetes, and fatty liver disease.
The long-term medical costs of diet-related disease—especially among low-income populations—far exceed the administrative costs of restricting certain items.
🔄 ABA Claim #2:
"Soda is not driving obesity. Soda sales are down 22.9%, while obesity is up 37.4%."
✅ Rebuttal:
This is a classic red herring—correlation does not imply causation.
Soda sales may be down, but total sugar intake remains high from other ultra-processed sources.
Children and adults still consume billions of servings of soda each year.
Even a single sugary drink per day is associated with increased risks of obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
SSBs are uniquely dangerous because they deliver massive amounts of rapidly absorbed sugar without satiety.
6% of total calories from beverages may sound small, but that’s nearly 120 calories per day.
🔄 ABA Claim #3:
"Restrictions are not reform. They grow government and don’t reduce program costs."
✅ Rebuttal:
Actually restrictions are a form of smart reform—just like tobacco control or EBT limitations on alcohol and tobacco.
Restricting harmful purchases aligns SNAP with its public health goals.
SNAP already prohibits certain items (e.g., alcohol, cigarettes)—this is not a new concept.
Many states support pilot programs to study health outcomes and cost-effectiveness of soda restrictions.
🔄 ABA Claim #4:
"Adults and children on SNAP are generally healthier than eligible non-recipients."
✅ Rebuttal:
This is a misleading cherry-pick from a 2016 study.
The broader body of evidence shows that SNAP participants have higher rates of obesity and diet-related disease than the general population.
The USDA itself has acknowledged that SSBs are the top expenditure in SNAP households' grocery purchases.
When taxpayer funds are used to subsidize sugar-laden drinks, it’s counterproductive to public health and economic productivity.
🟪 ABA “Bottom Line” Claim:
"Restrictions treat working families and veterans like second-class citizens."
✅ Rebuttal:
This is a manipulative emotional appeal that ignores public health realities.
This is not about “second-class citizens”—it’s about protecting vulnerable families from targeted marketing and the metabolic harm of SSBs.
Veterans and working families deserve better than to be lured into chronic disease by subsidized junk food.
The real inequity is that low-income Americans suffer the most from diet-related diseases, yet are targeted most heavily by soda companies. When you think about it, the ABA's stance here is gross, and possibly evil; just what will you do and say to keep the Billion$ flowing in???
For years, we were told to fear fat and eat "healthy carbs." The result? A diabetes epidemic. The truth: Carbs drive blood sugar spikes, not fat.
It’s time for a new approach. #DiabetesAwareness#KetoForDiabetes
Type 2 diabetes is NOT a life sentence.
The idea that it’s “chronic and progressive” is a myth that keeps people sick.
🚨 Here’s the truth:
✅ Insulin resistance causes Type 2 diabetes.
✅ Medications treat symptoms, NOT the root cause.
✅ Carbohydrate restriction allows the body to heal itself.
RT if you believe food is medicine! 🍳🥩 #DiabetesReversal
@Grizzledgreybrd Air is swallowed, it doesn't generate in your stomach. There is no bacteria there. So its most likely just anatomy and some people just swallow air when they eat. Or they eat too fast.
SIBO happens in your intestines where bacteria exists.

@FidesEtRatioEtc Try A2 milk, or better yet a clean A2 heavy cream that shows 0 carbs. You can add water to dilute it.
Remember that milk is designed to make baby mammals fat as quickly as possible. Have it sparingly.
@AsarCadyn I usually eat 1:1 in grams. Dropped from 266 to 190 and stopped for about a year. Started walking 30 mins a day and dropped to 179. The only thing left to cut out/back is dairy 😐
Everytime you struggle with a car payment or buy something nice for your kids, think of the BILLIONS in tax dollars they gave away to other countries rather than helping you.
How many times do you need to be lied to for you to automatically meet any scientific insistence that something is safe with great suspicion?
I’m so tired of the BS.
@PotatoEaterMmm Fast. When ever I get sick, I just fast and let my body focus on healing. If you need a little something, try some high quality bone broth… like jelly when cold. I’d do a beef one.
