I respectfully ask the NCAA tennis oversight committee to reevaluate the 10 year commitment that was made to Orlando. A decision that was essentially made behind closed doors without giving any campus sites an opportunity to bid on any of those years. I haven't met one athlete, coach, or fan that prefers this tournament be played on off campus sites.
Technically, the player has to request a MTO. The chair calls the trainer to court for evaluation and potential treatment. Chair administers timing and penalties. Then resumes plays.
ITA rulebook section I.K.1 for MTOs (dual matches).
Was there an injury treated?
Head official came out and said Badenhorst had to take a medical time out. Thus, Gorzny still had to serve out the game after going up 15-0 for the MTO point penalty.

I can't believe this isn't all over higher ed twitter.
The AIM Committee votes May 18-22 on rewriting US accreditation. (Lower barriers for new accreditors, outcomes-based standards, peer-review elimination, intellectual diversity mandates.)

The best coaches I’ve worked with never acted like they had all the answers.
They stayed coachable.
Reflection may be the most underrated leadership skill.
New piece on what Hall of Fame coaches understand about leadership:

I’m attending the Charitable Estate Planning Institute. Room full of healthcare & major nonprofits who understand this and see the rev opportunity in the Great Wealth Transfer.
@NCAA and @NACDA administrators should reach out to me. You need to know this stuff! I can help you.
The more I look at this, the more I think:
The issue isn’t donor willingness.
It’s how we structure the conversation.
Most donors are ready for “now + later” discussions earlier than we think.
I didn’t always get planned giving right.
Not because we didn’t believe in it—but because we were busy.
In athletics, “later” usually means never.
The shift:
Don’t add more work.
Go deeper in the conversations you’re already having.

@UTRGVmbb@chambershoops Congrats to @ChasseConque and @GoUTRGV on hiring @chambershoops to lead @UTRGVmbb. In my career hiring coaches, I've known just a few people who had the fire, passion, and drive to succeed like Brandon. He is a winner and will make UTRGV a winner.
Congrats Brandon and good luck.
