Just a reminder for MAGA….
Joe Biden’s son Beau fought for our country.
Donald Trump’s kids stole from a Children’s Cancer Charity.
Did I miss anything?
10 things Republicans have done in the last 1 month
1. Republicans ended the Direct File program, which allowed you to easily file your taxes online, for free.
2. JD Vance blamed "DEI policies" for a deadly crash between an airliner and military helicopter.
Nebraska, today I voted!! As early ballots are going out, here’s a key on how I will be voting on the statewide initiatives.
✨ Remember, to prevent an abortion ban you have to vote AGAINST 434 and FOR 439. ✨
Now that the GOP legal challenges are over, at least for the election, here are the numbers and a mini-voter guide:
Vote AGAINST 434: Ricketts-funded effort, vote AGAINST this permanent abortion ban.
Vote REPEAL 435: Protect public dollars for public schools. Stop LB1402’s voucher scheme.
Vote FOR 436: Provide paid sick leave to workers.
Vote FOR 437: Decriminalize medical cannabis for patients and protections for caregivers.
Vote FOR 438: Establish Medical Cannabis Commission to regulate medical cannabis.
Vote FOR 439: Protect the fundamental right to abortion and end the abortion ban.
Come to think of it, denigrating the worth of a soldier’s service based on whether he deployed to a war zone is… kind of like denigrating the worth of a woman’s citizenship based on whether she happens to have children.
@SenatorSlama@andrewwegley As well it shouldn’t! Winner Take All is a terrible policy for Nebraska, it was resoundingly shot down tonight, Nebraskans want their vote to count for President!
Lol tonight @lizzo is performing in Omaha and Senator Ballard, who just voted for a bill to ban abortion & trans healthcare, is going.
They want LGBTQ money
They want LGBTQ entertainment
They want LGBTQ culture
But at they won’t vote to protect LGBTQ lives and safety. 🫠
Nebraska Republican Says 6-Week Abortion Ban Is Necessary Because White People Are Being Replaced
Fun little one-two punch of misogyny and racism.

There are few bright spots in the Nebraska legislature but my friend @NebraskaMegan is one of them. I’m so thankful that we have a handful of people who are standing against all of the terrible legislation that threatens to do so much harm to our state and its citizens.
NE Republicans: Property taxes are too high and that’s why young people leave!
Also NE Rs: 49 days into this session, this horrible transphobic, anti LGBTQ bill is the ONLY bill to move on. 49 days they could have spent fixing property taxes…
Today, your Nebraska legislature voted to pass LB 574 past the first round of floor debate.
To all LGBTQ+ youth and families: Heads up. Chins up. We will survive this. Know that you have fierce advocates fighting for you every step of the way, and this is not over.
The result of legislation like this isn't fewer kids growing up trans, it's fewer trans kids growing up.
Denying care to trans youth and ostracizing them in school activities contributes to depression, self-harm and suicide. It's not protecting anyone.
It's bald-faced bigotry.
I signed a proclamation declaring January 16th Religious Freedom Day. This date is the anniversary of the 1786 Virginia Statue on Religious Freedom that protected the rights of people to practice religion without discrimination and was a precursor to the First Amendment.
