@RealMarkLatham@TheRealDavey2 The point of a model is to make a prediction of the future. A static model of the past 20 years data is not much help in this regard, he can't see this policy shift will freeze market liquidity and likely reduce the expected tax revenue.
THE BOARD OF THE ABC MUST RESIGN
The Board of the ABC has a statutory legal duty to ensure the ABC operates "efficiently" and delivers "maximum benefit" to the Australian people.
By failing to act, and allowing the ABC to post stories on a platform with almost no followers while deliberately ignoring the platform where it has 2.6 million followers (all for political reasons) the Board is breaching Australian law.
If we had a half-decent Communications Minister, she would be demanding the immediate resignation of the entire ABC Board.
Instead, the Communications Minister is the party and junket girl, Anika Wells - a weak and hopeless Minister who is simply not up to the task.
Never has Australia had a worse government.
And this why we need more One Nation Senators elected, because they get to hold the ABC to account during Senate Estimates - while Labor & the Greens cover for them - and most of the Liberals lack the spine to take the ABC on.
This is the exact opposite of the scientific method.
Science is built on large, representative samples, controlled studies, replication, and falsifiability. 'Lived experience' is literally n=1, one person’s subjective story. It’s an anecdote, not evidence.
When personal diagnosis becomes a job requirement over rigorous training and data, policy stops being evidence based and starts being faith based. Mental health outcomes deserve better than turning medicine into identity cosplay.
We don’t hire heart surgeons because they’ve 'lived' a heart attack. Why treat mental health any differently?"
Watching that "live" clip John on lead vocals, but where's the actual lead guitar? Both John & George look like they're strictly on rhythm. And the keyboard? Straight from a backing tape, no player in sight. Classic 60s TV b/s, tight close-up faces the whole time, zero musicality shown by production team.
Classic ASX explorer script: 'Just a bit more cash to hit the next milestone' then rinse and repeat.
The promoters and insiders get paid handsomely along the way, while shareholders eat endless dilution.
Smart money knows it's usually too late once the story hits the promo circuit.
Either one big raise to production or bust, anything else is just a slow wealth transfer.
And now Labor are going to model (yet again) an oil & gas 'super tax'. This is faulty logic on steroids. Australia has precious few producers left. They take massive investment risks and sink billions into projects. Now you want to cap upside on the rare winners? Add sovereign risk, punish success and watch investment flee. Energy security destroyed.
@OMGTheMess When one third of the cars fail to start or finish with various failures F1 going electric is not the flex they thought it would be. Quite the opposite these cars are expensive toys.
@PeterWallaceAU I agree. The race today was more like go-cart racing. Watching the cars battery charge status on the TV screen is a constant reminder of what a crock these cars are.
@Matkins2021@NicoleWernerMP This clearly violates Instagrams terms of service. "Community Standards (under "Inauthentic Behavior") forbid creating or using fake accounts, coordinating networks of inauthentic assets, or artificially inflating presence to mislead the community or evade detection."
