Going back through the RWC final and blown away by the effort from both teams. But what a player Kwagga Smith is to bring off the bench. Here are some of his actions π#RWC2023Final#RTERugby#RSAvNZL
Always loved the song Zombie by the Cranberries and the Irish fans certainly embraced it during the RWC making it their own. It was great and intimidating. Our πΏπ¦ people gave them a damn good go π Lekka πΏπ¦
Australia loses 41-17 tonight, right on the eve of the World Cup. This follows the All Blacks' heaviest defeat in their whole proud history last night.
They don't need to think too long about what changed on their domestic scenes since the last World Cup.
I'll say this again, about Shakur Stevenson -- he truly is a gifted boxer. One day he'll be in the Hall-of-Fame. He might go undefeated for a LOOOONG time. I believe he's THAT good, as do many others Ive asked and talked with, in regards to him
There's no doubt that other boxers have avoided him, or just flat out ducking him. Stevenson is a riddle that most dont even want to try and solve, the way Oscar Valdez did, or how Jamel Herring was mandated to
With that said, I wonder if he'll have to make some concessions and sacrifices to get the fights he wants, to get to the place he wants to be. It's not ideal, and nobody truly wants to do that. But other boxers have done that before in the past
The bottom line is that for Shakur, nobody really wants to face him unless they have no other choice, are mandated, or shamed into it -- or the price is right(and exorbitant) . My view is that if he insists on getting every single dollar he thinks he's entitled to (which is his right, no doubt) every single time, then that may give potential foes an excuse to not face him.
As of now, he presents waaay too much risk, and not enough reward for many guys. That's unfortunate. There was a time when fighters were expected to take on tough and difficult challenges. Now, they are praised by their pom pom wavers for doing just the opposite.
That's the blessing the curse of having the skills and talent that Stevenson has. He turns his fellow boxers into businessmen... #boxing
