I don't understand why Joey Porter Jr. doesn't just come out and publicly request a trade at this point.

He clearly doesn't want to play until he gets a new deal done & the Steelers clearly aren't going to budge and give one to him mid-season.

So it's either he's fine sitting out the entire season (which is definitely not the case), or he's looking to get traded so he can get get his money while at the same time avoiding weekly fines for sitting out & collecting weekly game checks because this 'injury' occurred during a team activity (practice).

We can all see what's going on here; just come out and say it at this point & stop insulting our intelligence with this whole charade.
