@TStoop such a gaslighty framing
We “ALWAYS” believe “SURVIVORS”
“Survivor” implies the other party is guilty, so why wouldn’t we always believe them?
Guilt has not been determined by any court of law at this point, so there are no “SURVIVORS” as of now
The case facts are murky @best
@LBR4567 Wow, thanks for sharing and shame on those parents for suing the brother rather than teaching their son how to handle himself and his alcohol before sending him to join a frat at IOWA of all schools
@Clipper_Revival@TheNBABase@Steven_Ballmer Dawg he fucked up but at least he fucked up trying to go big and win
You could have Jerry reinsdorf as your owner, free from scandal
@Hiroshiiix3@m_1nkl3@basedgod126 Again, I and other are making legal arguments. You agree with us in your first sentence
But then you dive right back into non-legal semantics that don’t matter in a court of law
Was sex consented to? Yes
Was alcohol, sex, and ket consented to? Yes
Was she incapacitated? No
@LBR4567 I mean in those hazing cases, at least the fraternities can have somewhat of responsibility in terms of the culture that is maintained.
In this case, the sorority has literally 0 involvement
@Hiroshiiix3@basedgod126 You’re using a MORAL argument to try to relate to a LEGAL case and LEGAL responsibility
Legally, being drunk over .08 BAL and driving breaks the law
Being drunk and consenting doesn’t necessarily break the law in NY
Everyone involved is morally bankrupt don’t get me wrong
@JeffO773 Works both ways unfortunately, city collects tax from large corporations that are purchasing and using software/SaaS/IaaS/etc from any sized vendor, vendor is required to collect but corp is still on the hook for the tax if not collected
People are far more outraged about one night of sex and drugs then hundreds of thousands of little British girls being raped by immigrants.
It's all performative, none of it is moral.
