God Replaces Those Who Leave — Dangote Comes Where Strive Should Have Built

After making his fortune through Econet, Strive Masiyiwa @StriveMasiyiwa5 left Zimbabwe in 2000 and never returned, choosing instead to invest his wealth in foreign lands rather than in the nation that gave him his rise.

But God is faithful — where others turned away, new giants are stepping in. Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, is coming to build where Strive could have built.

We salute true patriots like Kuda Tagwirei, Wicknell @wicknellchivayo , and Scott @HonSakupwanyaK, who, despite achieving great success, have never abandoned Zimbabwe. They continue to invest, empower, and uplift communities, proving that real wealth is built by those who love their country.

Unlike those who sought foreign citizenship and comfort abroad, these sons of the soil have remained steadfastly loyal — standing with their people and with their President, Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, under whose leadership the Second Republic is turning vision into visible progress.

Indeed, while others left to seek greener pastures, true patriots chose to water Zimbabwe’s own soil — and now, it is bearing fruit.

I spend a lot of time in South Africa, I recently bought 100gig data on Vodacom for R300 which is US$16.

You seem to have looked for the most expensive options instead of the regular options.

Data in Zimbabwe is expansive, uncapped fixed internet on Liquid is an equivalent of US$300.
Uncapped on Afrihost in South Africa at faster speeds than Liquid is US$47.

FOR THE RECORD: Firstly, any new political party or whatever movement that did not participate in the 2023 harmonised general election has no factual or legal basis for seeking a fresh general election.

Secondly, and in the same vein, anyone who was a candidate in any of the three elections held on 23/24 August 2023 harmonised general who has quit the party that sponsored his or her candidature and who has since joined or is in the process of forming a new party or movement has, ipso facto, also quit any of his or her claims or 'entitlements' relating to that general election'; regardless of whether the claims or entitlements are valid or not.

The next general election is constitutionally scheduled for 2028. Between now and then is a lifetime, anything can and will happen!
