I mean…. Have you paid any attention to the gaming industry that is currently on fire and delivering failure after failure ? Hoyo is massively successful while former giants like BioWare, Ubisoft, square ENIX , and Bethesda struggle to out out anything decent that is t croticized into oblivion.

There is disdain for all loot box style mechanics already. There really isn’t a god way to defend the fact that you can spend hundreds of dollars on genshin and still NOT get the character you want. How is that defensible?

There’s a good deal of difference between horse armor and what gacha games like Genshin sell. It’s incredibly disingenuous to act otherwise.

I’m glad you are having a good time with Genshin. I didn’t care for Nod Krai and honestly feel like Snezhnaya is from different developers. I also don’t find a character whose only use is to press her skill “insane”. I’ve just felt that since at least Miliastra being added that the game just doesn’t feel like it’s their flagship title anymore.
