[Mulago National Referral Hospital @MulagoReferral]

Mulago celebrates ISO certification as the 1st Public Hospital

@MulagoReferral has officially become the first public hospital in Uganda to achieve Integrated Management Systems.

The hospital now meets international standards for quality management, environmental management, and occupational health and safety.

This will help boast public confidence in the hospital while
Positioning it among health institutions that meet internationally recognized standards.

Mulago will be able to improve accountability, transparency, enhance specialized health care and attract more partnership in Uganda’s healthcare

Officiating over the celebrations to mark ISO certification, the State Minister of Health and General Duties, Hon. Anifa Kawooya Bangirana challenged staff to have passion for their work noting that this is the start to customer satisfaction & will help maintain the ISO certification.
